From the moment we arrived until we left this beautiful villa and we felt at home from the moment we walked in.

I had spoken to Despina a couple of months before arrival and her service was impeccable. She helped me organize cars, taxi transfer and also had some groceries ready before arriving.

The breakfast each morning was amazing from Victor the chef !!! Each day we had something different, fresh and local.

The Villa was breathtaking! 3 big rooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Now let’s talk about the pool!!! We used it every day and my family loved every minute of it!

The villa is only 10 min from the beach and main attraction. Not to far from the highway so getting around to the main beaches or going to Chania is not far.

We spent 17 amazing nights and my family of 7 people loved each day of it.
I can’t thank Despina and her team for making our stay a memorable one.

This place is a spectacular Villa with a 5 star service from breakfast to the cleaning.
I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for couples and family’s.
Just make sure you have a car to move around.

As a new family with a six month old baby, we were so nervous travelling and finding a place in Chania. Despina really came through with accommodating us throughout our stay, having contacted us prior and prepared for our baby’s arrival to the villa. It was a refreshing holiday with a lot more freedom than you would typically get in a hotel resort, with everything you would need all provided by the villa - we had days where we would just stay, cook, and swim in the pool with our little one and days where we could securely leave our things at the villa and pop by to the town or go out to sea. It was truly a new experience, and at the Conte Marino Villas, a beautiful start to our travelling journey with our baby. A huge thank you to Despina and her family for allowing us to stay at their beautiful villa, and also Viktoras and Theodora for their services!
P.S. you had orange trees, and beautiful views of the mountains and the ocean from the villa - truly a spectacular landscape!

My husband and our 2 teenagers just returned from this lovely Oasis near Chania and we all agreed we could not have picked a better location or house for our visit. Not only is the villa stunningly beautiful and immaculate, but our host, Despina, was so incredibly welcoming and generous. From the welcome basket filled with wine, olives and other specialty items from Crete, Cretan bath products in the bathrooms, and the most amazing breakfast spread freshly prepared each morning by her chef, we felt like our every need was anticipated. She was so helpful in recommending beaches, towns and restaurants. She even reserved a table for us our first night. The house itself is so lovely. It has all the modern amenities but the thing we loved most about it was how it blended so seamlessly with the natural environment. It has great outdoor space with plenty of shady spots even during the heat of the day. We loved the pool, the sound of the cicadas, and the abundant fruit trees on the property. Some of the nicest beaches in Crete are within easy driving distance and the cute town of Chania is just a short drive away. If I could give this property more stars, I would because it is that special. Thank you Despina for making our stay so perfect!
