I have just returned from a week in Haraki - great little place to stay.
The rooms are very clean, compact but all you need.
Lots of great places to eat .
Take the trip to Lindos by boat-wonderful.
My only suggestion is that the bins should be emptied everyday!!

Returned last week from excellent stay at Porto Haraki studios. Very hot but a/c available at 7 Euros/day or fans at 3 Euros/day. Brilliant location on sea front/promenade. Double rooms have beautiful sea view across bay. Good selection of restaurants/bars close by. Bus service to Lindos/Rhodes is poor (unless you trek 3km to main road) so you will need a car to get about (or you can take glass bottom boat to Lindos 25 Euros). Rooms are small/compact and cooking facilities basic but we made good use of bars/cafes/restaurants nearby which provide good value. Haraki is a quiet resort but a real gem. Don't think I'd choose any other location on Rhodes. Try the early morning walk up to Feraclos Castle - excellent view of the bay!

Room Tip: Double rooms are on front.

Stayed for 2 weeks in June, very clean and with a great sea view but very very small, almost like a cupboard,a very small wardrobe and no drawesr or storage space.Exceptionally hot, thank goodness for air con,7euro per night but very necessary.Loved Haraki but would look for different accomodation for next visit.

Room Tip: Rooms as back are bigger but only have a view of the scruffy car park.

just back from a week in Porto Haraki. Yes the rooms are very small particularly the ones on the front that have double beds that we were in but we could live with that given the view when you step onto the balcony in the morning. Studio spotlessly clean if a little shabby. The restaurant downstairs has re-opened this year so the heat from the kitchen meant air con was essential and their food and friendliness all made for an enjoyable stay in Haraki.

Room Tip: Book a double room if you want sea view

We booked a late deal through Olympic and were thrilled with our little apartment. True, it was rather small but you don't spend much time indoor on a beach holiday and it had everything we needed. It was clean and the location couldn't have been better, right on the beachfront with a south facing balcony overlooking beautiful Haraki bay. Be sure to ask for a room at the front. Haraki is a delightful little resort, totally unspoilt which attracts lots of Greeks so gives it a real traditional feel. Poeple seem to go back year after year and it's easy to see why. Everyone is very friendly, the tavernas serve authentic food at reasonable prices and the atmosphere is laid back and relaxed. In fact it's the perfect place to do very little!! We are already planning to return at the end of the Summer and hope to stay in these apartments again.

Room Tip: ask for a room at the front with a sea facing balcony; these are nostly doubles, I think. Rooms at...

Just got back from this wonderful resort. We were lucky enough to be allocated a seaview, top floor so we made good use of the balcony.! What make this particular accommodation lovely is the view especially the front and the location. As people have commented before the rooms are small and very basic but they were clean. Although, it would have been nice if the room had been cleaned more than once during our stay.
Anna was very nice and arrived promptly to arrange the much needed air conditioning. You also get use of the pool at Alia Studios which are only a few minutes away.
Haraki is a little gem and the beach wasn't too overcrowded. We were unsure though of which beds, umbrellas etc to use as it stated the yellow and blue ones belonged to the accommodation but we couldn't find any. Agaith Beach is within walking distance which was nice but very popular.
You shouldn't be disappointed with the food. Tommy's Bar was a lovely taverna off the main strip and the friendly owner cooked us a special vegetarian Moussaka and chatted to us. We also loved Il Capitano for the vegetarian food and they were also very friendly. This was always popular with the Greeks, which is always a good sign!
It's rare to find such a resort which hasn't succombed to all inclusive hotels and definitely maintained its charm.
