“Wonderful stay at Chalet Auriane”
Reviewed April 17, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

The chalet is perfectly placed for skiing. There is a super furnuclular that lifts you up from the car park to the chalet and then from there up to the piste. The chalet is very spacious and with its open plan, is very welcoming and makes one instantly feel at home. It is kittled out with audio, wifi, hottub and a great sauna.
We had the most superb catering with Dan being the head chef and helped by Ellie. The food was very very good and I dont say that lightly. I have eaten in Les Manoir and other 1-2 star restaurants and the food at the chalet was comparable.
The entire stay was brilliant and I cant wait until we return.

I am delighted that you had such a great stay at Chalet Auriane and also appreciated the skills of our chef, Dan and Ellie. They have contributed to a superb season and have had similar rave reviews from our other guests. We look forward to seeing you again next year in La Tzoumaz.

“True indulgence”
Reviewed March 6, 2017 for a stay in March 2017

Chalet Auriane is a little gem.
The owners have decorated the interior in such a tasteful and fun way that it's impossible for anyone not to love it there. It's all so well-thought through and leaves you wanting for nothing. The view is breathtaking- especially when sipping champagne from the hot tub :-)
The only thing you may be fighting over is who will get the master bedroom!
The whole experience is made absolutely perfect with Elly who looks after you so well you'll hate going home without her, and Dan who will dazzle you and your stomach every day of your stay, morning - afternoon and evening!!

The village of La Tzoumaz is small and friendly, which may not be for everyone but suited us fine.
The direct access to the slopes with your private "lift" is fantastic, thought not for first-time skiers. Our kids had never skied before so we needed to walk them to the free shuttle bus, 100 yards from the chalet, which took them to the classes at the baby lift.
There is some nice skiing to be done around La Tzoumaz and easy access with the lifts to Verbier area, but bare in mind that this station is more weather dependant.
In any case, even if you loose a couple of hours of ski, there are worse places to be stuck than Chalet Auriane!
An absolute topper, for young and old!

“Perfect for our trip”
Reviewed January 24, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

The chalet is stunning with all the little luxuries you would expect and more. We were lucky as the snow is awesome right now and we had lots of sunshine too. Found it easy skiing in and out. dint try the luge but did make our own luge slide in the garden!!
Evenings watching teh latest movies together wrapped in fur throws after Andy's amazing dinners( we could have been in a Michelin starred restaurant-the best canapés we have ever had too!!) have left us with previous memories and we learned to play backgammon by the fire.Adults and teenagers left with huge smiles on their faces!! Amazing ski holiday.

“Easy going luxury in powder heaven”
Reviewed January 12, 2016 for a stay in January 2016

We need to return to Chalet Auriane, soon. Super luxurious accomodation, extremely helpful and welcoming staff, amazing food, and all just thirty steps from the piste.

Booking through the website was straight forward and a prompt response from the owner led to clear directions from Geneva airport; confirmation of our drink and food prefences plus good advice on ski lessons (instructors will return kids to Chalet!).

Tip for drivers: Stop at the Relais du Bernard for Lunch on lake Geneva - just 30 minutes short of La Tzoumaz - for amazing views. On arrival in the resort your car will be safe and warm in Chalet Auriane's heated garage.

Food was fantastic - Awesome Chef Andy and Astrid were very attentive to the kids need for more of their delicious morning pancakes. Evening meals delivered delicious tender fillet and lamb, pressed pork belly and a wonderful chicken fillet creation that I cant remember the name of - but have posted a picture - along with a world beating sticky-toffee pudding. The boys loved their first ever Duck croquettes.

Most of all we loved the easy going comfort of the Chalet full of thoughtful touches like the the incredible ski boot warming cupboard. The garden was an additional playground for the kids - whilst we hot-tubbed. As we left a snow park was being built on the blue run.. would love to have had a go at that. La Tzoumaz is little gem.

we are delighted you enjoyed your holiday and appreciated the advantages of La Tzoumaz as a top ski resort which offers access to great skiing without the crowds of Verbier itself. We look forward to seeing you again next year.

“One of the best Chalet in the Alps - Veriber 4 Vallies”
Reviewed January 8, 2016 for a stay in December 2015

We rented the chalet over New Years - dispite the lack of snow, on the last day the Chalet is ski in ski out. The Chef Andy was outstanding and we were well looked after by Astrid.

The Chalet is to a very high level, with a fabulous master bedroom and 3 larger double rooms and a kids room. Hot tub used very night with a glass of wine.

The Fire work on New Year were excellent with a great view from the Chatel.

Only tip would be if you have a young family and want to ski a lot worth getting childcare / Nanny to help with Ski school drop off.
