What it is to wake up to that amazing view of the stunning Swiss Valais. Whether devouring one of Hugo’s nourishing morning omelette’s or lounging by the crackling fire – the fantastic view of the mountains outside are a constant calming companion. The practicalities are also spot on – a straightforward 2 hour drive from Geneva to a luxury Chalet that you really can ski in and out of!

Hugo and Dawn are wonderful discreet hosts who made us feel truly welcome – great food and wine delivered with warmth and knowledge. Our three boys enjoyed their ski around the entire 4 Vallees, the huge range of skiing (from the blues to the blacks and the famous Tortin for the braver ones), snowball fights in the garden, delicious (and plentiful food) and the evenings in the hot tub. Is it wrong to enjoy such an enormous sense of well being?

What can i say....... from the moment we arrived at Chalet No.58 we were amazed at the quality and just how gorgeous it look. The rooms are all so spacious, sofas are so comfy and the dining table is just gorgeous!

The beds are amazing and the kids rooms was perfect for the big kids we were with!

The skiing domain in La Tzoumaz is brilliant for beginners and skiing over into Verbier was great for the more experienced. The apre ski is good with a few bars down in the village.

The small supermarket has everything you will need for your week - a little pricey but very handy indeed.

It was just an all round fantastic holiday with lost of great memories- we have already booked for next year!

Here's to next year - cant wait!

Room Tip: you will definitely need a car with chains do a shop in either Martingy or Conthey

What a great find La Tzoumaz is. It has quiet slopes which are well maintained and range from gentle blue runs to more challenging reds. The off piste skiing was heaven with wide sweeping areas of powder. The local ski instructors were very good and ski school was excellent for the children. I spent a day at hectic verbier and hated the long queues for the lifts etc and was glad to return to our resort.
Chalet Auriane was fabulous being ski in and ski out and it was heaven to have a soak in the hot tub on the balcony or a sauna, which made a great end to a perfect day. The master bedroom was on of the most spectacular rooms I've stayed in, with its giant treehouse like bed and views of the mountains and valley while laying in thebath.
The children had plenty to do with the numerous games and an outdoor garden area for them to make snowmen and pelt each other with snowballs and tobaggon down. The children had the option to have their meals separately and just loved the apple TV with over 1000 films to choose from.
Us adults were more than satified with the great variety of meals supplied and the quality of the food was better than most restaurants/hotels I've eaten at.
The rooms we kept very well cleaned and linen was changed regularly. It was the little extras like bathrodes and slippers etc which made this chalet stand out from any other that I've stayed at.
I will definately consider staying here again next year.

This is really one chalet and one resort that you MUST experience for yourselves!
Chalet Coucou (and im sure the rest of the chalets within this company) was truely fantastic! From the moment we arrived the staff were so helpful and welcoming and instantly made me and my family feel at home.

We were helped with our bags and as soon as we saw the chalet we were amazed! The pictures on the website are lovely but in the flesh the chalet was just fabulous. The rooms were all so spacious and the kitchen and laundry room was well equipped.
The daily cake was just what we needed after a long day on the slopes and the daily clean meant we didnt have to worry about it at the end of the week and it just felt clean all week!
The slopes were in perfect condition all week and we never waited to get on any of the lifts it was amazing! The childrens instructors were brilliant and so friendly with very good English. For the adults the guided lessons were ace!
The village is very handy with the supermarket and a few restaurants and pubs- all child friendly.
All in all the holiday was one to remember and we have already booked for next season.
Thank you 4 vallees staff!
