The golf course is magnificent. The scenery dramatic. Holes 10 and 13 are breathtakingly beautiful with greens only steps away from the shore of the Atlantic and waves that seem to come up to the green.
The management of this course is what ruins then experience. Tee times are given
to visitors. However, locals just walk on the course. We played several rounds and had up to three four balls in front of us on a Par 4 hole.
Count on more than five hours and bring all the patience you muster.
Seve would have fired the manager send Marshals on the course. It would be easy to turn this operation into a gem

Dear golf player,
Thank you for such description on the golf course.
However, I am very sorry to hear about what happened on the day that you played in Buenavista Golf, but due to the lack of details, we kindly ask you to send us more information about the date and tee-time when you played here in order to know the possible reason of this matter.
I woul appreciate your comments very much.

Booked via their website to save on green fees which ranged from 70-80 euros in November. The course is stunning. The design/layout and views are truly top class.
It is tough at times against the wind, but fair and gives you a chance to make scores which reflect your handicap. More than average par 3s and 5s but still a course to return to!

Oh dear, Buenavista golf had our pants down and that's a fact. On Sunday, with the rain hammering Adeje, we phoned ahead to Buenavista to be told, they had had rain overnight but t was now dry and sunny and the course was open. When we arrived, in a torrential downpour a groundsman told us it had been raining hard all morning and the course was under water. While having a coffee the rain stopped and the courses very good drainage seemed to be working and the receptionist told us as we had booked and the course was open we should play, and that once out we had to finish, and that the course had never been closed in 11 years so not to worry. We stupidly paid our money, and tee'd off, the first four ball got to the 4th the 2nd only to the 2nd when the greenkeeper came to tell us the course was closed and we had to come off of it.
When we went back to reception the receptionist said we couldn't have a refund, just a bono to play by the end of the month, 12 days. So basically they took green fees off of 8 of us under completely false pretenses. Had they been honest we would never have left Adeje, for a few quid they had us risk the drive to Buenavista, then conned us into paying to play and then shut the course with no refund.
It's a beautiful course but ugly people

Dear player,
We are very sorry you feel this way, but from reception’s side, early in the morning, the group leader was informed about the bad weather conditions at that moment by the phone.
Once you arrived, you decided to wait.
Meanwhile you were at the cafeteria the weather got better and the group decided to play, but unfortunately once you started playing, the weather changed dramatically and as responsible for our customer’s security and for your own one we invited you to stop the game and in order to compensate this situation, the 8 players were granted with 8 complimentary green-fees.
We are very worry and we regret this entire situation again, that we thought it had been solved with the 8 complimentary green-fees and we have been flexible to extend them twice depending on your availability to play in order to give you the best possible service.
With kind regards from Buenavista Golf

This a very hard course to play but is a very nice walk, buggys are available or electric trolleys, the views are tremendous and the last 4 holes are the toughest on thre Island of the White tees.

The golf course is very nice. With the ocean in the background. Well maintained.

But the highlight was the instructor we had - Vincente (or something similar).
He was very good in guiding us, while being extremely friendly and helpful.
Excellent customer service form his side!
