Lovely holiday was what it said it would be we went to get a week of sunshine and relax. Hotel didn't look much but inside was lovely, all staff always helpful plenty of choice of food all day, but still people complained. Rooms spacious and cleaned every day. It was windy but plenty of room to get out of it.
Close to airport but doesn't bother you at all wish we had another week.

We booked this hotel last minute for a week in the sun on an all inclusive basis to escape the winter blues. Well for a start this is not a four star hotel as the quality of the food and drink let it down also the wonderful friendly staff are completely overworked there is just not enough of them as every time you went to get something at the bar there was a very long queue waiting to get served. We have been on lots of all inclusive deals before and I must say this is the worst we have experienced, no snacks available during the day so if you miss breakfast or lunch they only have tea or coffe and cake in the afternoon nothing else. Food in the restaurant is plentiful but very cool needs to be heated, every lunch and evening its the same selection.
Be prepared for a chilly wind which blows around this hotel especially when you are sitting around the pool because of the close proximity to the beach the black sand blows all over and you end up covered in sand. Do make the bus trip into Los Christanos as there is no wind there as its well worth the effort just 5/6 euros return on the local bus or the hotel does a shuttle bus which is 10 euros return from the hotel and back. Would we stay in this hotel or area again I'm afriad its a NO. I do feel for the staff as from the cleaning staff to the reception and dining staff all work really hard and going by the other guests comments they would not be back either so there is only one way this hotel can go. I really don't think the Manager would really care if this hotel survives or not. We had a good week as we met some lovely people and made our own fun.

Room Tip: Definitely book sea view as the rooms that don't face the sea are very cold and not much of a view.

Are first time to Tenerife for my 40th birthday ! Loved it ! We paid extra for sea view which was well worth it , hotel was very clean and staff very friendly , beautiful views and food was quite nice . We cud have done with Kettle in the room but that was the only negative ! If you like a quiet relaxing hotel this the place to go .

This is our final day before flying home tomorrow. Having read the reviews before coming myself and my partner were apprehensive about the attitudes of the staff. I can completely put your mind at ease. The staff are top notch and ever so friendly all it takes is for you to say hello and there warmth just shines through.
Angelo on reception is absolutely fantastic he can not do enough for you and as for Enzo in the pool bar he is great he can't do enough for you and the girls in the restaurant are amazing.
My partner was ill one night and the maids couldn't do enough to help.
The only downside was the weather the wind was unbelievable if you like surfing it's perfect but other than that the hotel provides a shuttle everyday except Friday for just 10 euros a return ticket to go to Los cristianos, playa las Americas or siam park. After two days we had enough of the wind and booked the shuttle for every day for the rest of the week. It picks up at 10am from the hotel and picks up again at 5pm and the weather down there is unbelievable just a 15minute ride down the road and the weather is 25+ degrees no wind and feels like you're on holiday.
The hotel itself is like no other absolutely fantastic. The spa is so relaxing and the girls in there are so helpful and friendly. The heated pool outside is great.
All in all a great holiday and would recommended to anyone.
Those who are moaners will always find something to complain and whinge about.
We personally felt it was the relaxing holiday we paid for.

Warm pool, close to the beach. Nice village close to the hotel. Good SPA-treatments. Spacious rooms. Nice view from the restaurant.

Too short of staff in both reception and restaurants make you have to wait too long for even small requests. Strange that the electricity for the minibar is cut when you leave the room! PS the "ocean view" is quite limited from many of the rooms - more like beach view...

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the front of the hotel - many of the rooms have views towards the beach and the small town of El Medano, not the ocean.
