We stayed in a VIP cottage and although I wouldn't actually class it as VIP it was very comfortable and in a great location. The additional facilities (and additional cost) - snowdome and waterski are fantastic. The kids had a great time and really enjoyed going swimming in the aqua dome every day. Food was a bit pricey but you could cook your own in your cottage if you wanted. The entertainment started quite late - 8.30pm so it meant we usually missed it with a young child but the little we saw looked good.
A lovely location with our cottage backing onto part of the lake area - very peaceful and we really enjoyed having breakfast on the patio each morning with lots of birds singing around us.
Only real negative is the lack of any cooling in the cottages. It got really humid when we were there and there is not even a fan in the VIP cottage. It was registering 29 degrees and extremely sticky at midnight inside the cottage with not a lot of difference outside. We didn't need to use the sauna.More
