a great mix of nationalities in season. disco bar, shop, lockers, bar and restaurant, all right on the beach. the basics are all there and the pricing if you bring a tent is reasonable. you will hear about the famous 'walk of shame'. this is people walking back from the town(chora) and who couldnt get a taxi back- they have to stumble back in the dark down a steep hill to get back to the campsite. huts are available for rent as is other types of accomodation. the reception has everything you need and the guys working there are top. this is my 3rd time there, and we stayed for over 4 weeks. plenty of pitches. minibuses pick you up from the port. beach is terrific and the setting is to die for. watch out for theives, flying insects and some rediculous prices along the strip. can be very noisey, but who cares, eh? adam budd
