10 out of 10, fantastic,

Well, where do i start, My partner Kris decided to look around for a last minute holiday and he knew my love for Greece, we searched around and came across the Aquis in Corfu, and we were impressed from the ratings.
When we were on our coach transfer in Corfu, we were literally one of the last stops and i could see in Kris's face the worry as all the places we were dropping prople off seemed run down and in the middle of no where, then we pulled up to the Aquis and just smiled at each other, its beautifully kept grounds, gorgeous surroundings and some of the most helpful staff i have ever seen on a break made this holiday with Kris the best i have ever had and i would like to thank all the staff at the Aquis for this.

We were among one of the only English at the hotel and were extremely well looked after- i would recommend this place to anyone and would have no doubts you would enjoy yourself!
The staff in particular we would both like to mention is George in the lobby bar who everynight after dinner made us feel welcome as we sat up on the rooftop area, he chatted to us about the area and was always smiling, Marcus in the main pool area and Dionisis in the other pool bar near our room, Andreas in the restaraunt made us feel extremely welcome and we looked forward to going to dinner every evening to the point i was sad to have left and say goodbye!

The room was far better than i ever could have imagined, perfectly clean, it even had an upstairs with an extra bedroom and bathroom ( not that it was needed as there was only two of us!) the view from the balcony was amazing and you felt that you had enough privacy and no where was too busy. The fact that the beach is literally next to the pool i think is fantastic, all well maintened and of high quality, we choose to spend most of our time near the newer quieter pool and bar on the beach, alays sunbeds avalaible and Dionisis to greet us with a smile at the bar !
Food & Drink- I was extremely impressed at the food and drink choice avaliable expcially for all inclusive as some cocktails were included so you didnt just rely on the local wines and spirits! The food choice was extensive every breakfast, lunch and evening and i sampled almost everything and everything was fresh and delicious- i especially liked the greek night with the greek food they hosted on the Monday night, it made you feel you neednt leave the hotel at all as it literally has everything you could need want or imagine!

The hotel bars, dining areas, pools and rception are all of an extremely high standard and i also have to mention their customer service is among the best i have seen. When i left the hotel i realised Kris had left a ring in our room by the sink i had bought him whilst out in Corfu and i was devastated, I phoned the hotel when we arrived at the airport and they offered to send a taxi straight away, our flight was due to leave to gatwick shortly so in the end they sent it to my home address in England, i would like to say a HUGE thank you for Elizabeth at recpetion for organising this,

I am already planning my return visit with Kris next year and couldnt speak any higher of the Aquis!

We stayed for 12 nights all inclusive. 2 worn out parents with a 14 and 12 year old looking for a relaxing holiday. In short, we had a great time. The hotel is excellent value for money, lovely recently updated rooms, free wifi throughout, nice gardens, safe clean beach, nice terraces and pool areas. It's relatively small size means it never feels busy, and the quiet pool at the southern end of the resort is just that-quiet and relaxing!

Without doubt, the highlight of the hotel was the friendliness and attentiveness of its staff. Nothing was too much trouble, and we were always greeted with a smile. Special mention must be made about the reception staff, they were excellent (particularly Lizzie and Cindy), and all of the waiters in the restaurant.

The food was really good generally, with some of the lunch and dinner dishes being excellent. It was certainly the best buffet/all inclusive food we've ever experienced. Dishes were always hot, and fresh, and we never experienced any queuing despite the hotel being absolutely full. I'm interested to read other peoples comments about the microwave being situated in the restaurant- I think they're missing the point as this is not intended for you to re-heat your food, but to enable parents to heat bottles etc for their children!!! I think the chef and waiting staff would be mortified if food was found to be cold, and would rectify the situation without you using the microwave. I never witnessed anyone relying on said machine.

We stayed in a family suite at the southern end of the resort, near the quiet pool. Other than the pool, we had uninterrupted views of The Ionian Sea and mainland Greece, and were greeted with the most beautiful sunrises each morning. This end is very quiet, and we never heard any noise form the entertainment at the hotel (or from Kavos !) We had actually booked 2 adjoining rooms initially, but as these were not available were offered the suite. The upper floor was slightly small for our bigger kids, but we easily managed, and for younger children the suites are perfect. Good air-con, nice bathrooms and the 2 sleeping areas are separated by various doors allowing for privacy/quiet.

Overall, this is an excellent hotel, offering a really good 4 star experience. It's not a 5 star hotel in our opinion, as some have suggested, but it doesn't need to be with the market it is catering for. I think anyone will be hard pushed to find better value for money.

Our only slightly negative observations were;

1. Location is very isolated- not an issue to us as we were able to walk to Lefkimi if we wanted to (it took us about 30 mins), and arranged car hire easily through reception. We knew what we were letting ourselves in for having done a bit of research before booking. That said we were quite shocked at how "bombed out" the road running from the hotel to Kavos was. The less said about Kavos the better, other than to say, one drive through left us embarrassed and ashamed about the loutish behaviour of the drunken British youth. (The atmosphere was similar to that outside an English football ground in the 70's/80's on a Sat pm) Be assured though, The Aquis Capo Di Corfu is unaffected by Kavos

2. All inclusive drinks were not brilliant. Beer and wine were fine but cocktails were poor in our opinion.

If you're looking for a quiet, beautifully run, well kept, all inclusive resort with really good food and are prepared to travel a bit to get more of Corfu, this place is a must.

Room Tip: Busier end of resort is near reception, restaurant and main pool, quitter end is to south, near quiet pool.

I was pleasantly surprised that the hotel Aquis Capo di Corfu have no problem cook meals for clients with gluten-free diet. Arete restaurant chef is very friendly person and always, when I need advice on whether the food is gluten-free, transferred me buffets and showed me what I can eat. The restaurant arete offers gluten-free bread and cereals. If I had an interest in food that contain wheat, cooked very similar to another pan. With a gluten-free diet I had no problem during the whole 12 days. The food was very delicious, we had to choose from a variety of dishes. The wine that was included in the all inclusive was easy summer, the most we tasted white.

Staff is very friendly and professional. During breakfast, lunch and dinner in restaurants are also managers who are looking for quiet running restaurants.

We spent 10 days in a Garden view family room with a 4yr old and a 6yr old. The accommodation was brilliant and worked exceedingly well with the children up in the mezzanine floor. The garden view appear to be better placed than the sea view rooms, which have their view obstructed and are too close to the noise of the resort.
The food was excellent, with a vast array each evening and we never had a desire to eat elsewhere. The waiting staff are extremely friendly and helpful, especially Adela and Georgiou who made our stay most enjoyable and we felt well looked after, and fed!
The resort is dominated by Framissa (French holiday company) and the activities are run by their staff and obviously mostly geared towards their French guests. They did not preclude you from joining in, but both the language and the basis that we had not booked our holiday through them felt us less inclined to join in. As most of the children on site were French they went to the kids club run by Framissa and had their own children's disco/shows etc, whereas the hotel did in fact have it's own (not well advertised) kids club run by lovely Emmanuella who the kids adored. Our kids were often the sole children there, but they did not mind.
The pool with the slides was great entertainment and in an area on it's own which was great. The lifeguard was fantastic with the kids.
Although not the most beautiful of beaches it served it's purpose for the children as it was sandy, shallow and clear for quite some distance.
Downside was the location of the hotel, without anywhere of interest to walk to.

Room Tip: Avoid sea view rooms as they do not have a clear view of the sea and tend to be noisier.
