The water park was really interesting, whoever built it has obviously poured a huge amount of money into it (there is even a real, full size Boeing 737 inside for example) but it looks like they ran out of money before finishing it.
We heard it gets extremely busy with kids at the weekend so we went on a Tuesday and had the whole park to ourselves which was brilliant, and it cost Rp60,000 each to get in (about US$4) which is ridiculously cheap.
The place is huge and really well equipped, plenty of showers, and you can rent electric buggies for the elderly and even golf carts. A number of clean swimming pools including one that I would guess is a 50m pool.
Kids pools, a lazy river and then the centrepiece which was a big building in the middle with 8 tubes and a further 6 slides. These were fantastic - some easy ones for kids and “seniors” (a lovely touch!) and then up another level for the fast ones.
Also have a go kart track, a flying fox, a rope ladder thing for climbing through the trees as well as a Pirate Ship ride and a load of other stuff. Some of these are extra but still pennies.
Considering there is not much for tourists in Jepara this place was brilliant ! Highly recommended. It sounds like it’s best avoided at weekends though.
Also worth mentioning you can’t take your own food and water inside, but there are a few cafes and water cost only Rp 5,000 a bottle so a bit more than a convenience store but it won’t break the bank.
I hope you have as much fun as we did.
For the biggest water park at Jateng province it's still need a lot of improvement (maybe because it's not finished yet) the water sport rides needs more variety, the changing rooms and toilets are too few. We are prohibited from bringing our own food but the food stalls there are too few and not much choice in variety so we'll go starving if there's long queues.
Maybe if we go on regular day (not holiday season) we'll enjoy the place better, and the entrance ticket we pay (75k rupiahs per person) would be worth it.
An awesome experience in here. Clean and tidy. But the theme park doesnt complete yet. There are 3 slides doesnt finish. Actually.. its great place for family and friends
