Didn't really see any of the "plantation" but there is lovely vegetation and the original (??) house is like a mini-museum. Very interesting and nice to explore

On a recent cruise we stopped in Martinique. We booked an excursion to Clement House & Plantation. Our guide was a well-informed young lady named Gladwys. The tour encompassed the historic house, gardens, sugar cane and banana fields, and the no-disurum distillery. The motor coach was a modern, air-conditioned bus with an able driver. The excursion was a product of Voyages Roger Albert, and also included the Balata Church and Balata Gardens. I can recommend this company and itinerary unreservedly.

The complete explanation of how to make rum from sugar cane juice - together with the shop to sample the products. They also have a small art gallery and a park for kids - and grown ups - to run around.

everything you need to see at a rhum plantation and more. the factory well explained and set out for the visitor, the shop and rhum tasting, the amazing gardens and surrounding views of infinite banana plantations etc. the quaint plantation house and it's epoc furnishings and two small art galleries that promote local artists with changing expos throughout the year. One gallery is modern the other 'case a Leo' not so. If you want to visit only the art and gardens you say so at the entrance and you go in free! but if it is your first visit it is worth paying as you get to see everything. Take a walk round the pond and get to see all species of local trees that are labeled. Be surprized, go visit!

My wife and I visisted here as part of tour of the Island of Martinique, off the Wind Surf, while on a cruise in the Caribbean. The Island of Martinique is quite lovely and the Habitation Clement is a visual and historical treat! We toured on a bright, sunshine filled day which made the entire gournds sparkle!

Our tour included a view of the grounds and garden with interesting trees and plants. Flowers are everywhere and the colors are stunning.

The museum and main house are restored and quite interesting and offer a glimpse of the past on Martinique.

The walking tour concludes with a visit to the tasting room and the opportunity to purchase spirits!
