Excellent home cooked traditional greek food. Lovely roof top terrace . It's very popular and can get busy . But is certainly worth the wait.

Thank Philip M

We reserved a table and found ourselves placed in a dark area near the vending machine. We were given a menu, but the restaurant didn't seem to have any of the dishes shown on the menu! The starters were. Nice but the house wine was poor. I wonder if this restaurant has become a little complacent with its previously good reputation!

Well here we just wish to confirm all the reviews i read about this place. Food is genuine and fresh. We didn't get any fish just veggy and meat....but all served very well.
Certainly a place you can go back, talking of pure and real greek tavern

This was the worst meal I have had since arriving in Greece. When asked by the waiter why we hadn't finished our meal we said it was because the food was poor. We were not offered a discount even though we barely touched three dishes. On the way out, the chef abused us for criticising his food. We paid the full bill and left. Christina is in Athens apparently. We will never be back. The food at the Sunset restaurant is way better, fresher, and you dont get abused. Try that instead.

Went here after reading the good reviews but had a markedly different experience. We arrived at 8pm on a Monday night and got shown to a table and given bread and water and after about 5 minutes the grey haired middle aged lady in charge (the owner?) came to our table and said "yes, what do you want?". This surprised us as we had been given no menu and there was no blackboard in evidence listing dishes on offer. I asked for a menu and we were given one. When she came back to take our order I chose mousakka and was told it was unavailable, and then she indicated that of the approx 10 main dishes on offer only 3 or 4 were available. Maybe Monday is a quiet night which explains the limited choice? I selected a Greek beer (Mythos) from the menu and was told is was also unavailable and I could have Amstel or Heineken. Felt a bit bizarre that i could get neither a major Greek dish or a Greek beer in a Greek restaurant. There were only 2 other couples in the restaurant, both Greek and the owner spent a lot of time socialising with them and ignored us. Basically the vibe we got was that we were not wanted there. We had our meals which were stuffed tomatoes and a chicken and tomato dish, OK food but unremarkable and poorly presented. We were just finishing up our meal when a soccer ball that the kids were kicking around in the street outside came sailing over the balcony and smashed into the top of our table. It broke a plate and splashed olive oil everywhere and my beer glass was smashed to smithereens on the ground. The owner came over and said sorry, and removed the broken dishes but did not offer to replace my glass of beer. We'd had enough by this stage so just paid up and left. If this place wants to attract non Greek tourist dollars then they've got to try a lot harder.
