The hotel is out of the way from a resort as such, but as you are all inclusive there is plenty of space to do your own thing. The rooms were very spacious with great views, whether this be mountains or sea. Pool areas are kept clean and choice of fun or quiet areas, for a little extra adults can pay a small fee and use the spa pool which was peaceful. The food selection was very good and well presented with plenty of fresh choice including drinks and wine. It is on the sea front with not much of a beach, but there is a man made section with little areas you can have privacy which was a nice touch. A very busy hotel, but you could go for a wander along the path on the sea front. Woud visit again as a couple or a family as it had everything really. A bit of a posh Butins but good fun and friendly. Playa del Ingles is not far for a cheeky night out for some adult humour to see the Drag Artisits at the Yumbo Centre and didnt cost the earth in the Taxi. Really close to the airport so no messing for transfers and great to get in the pool ASAP.

Room Tip: Ask for higher level for good views and only book if you enjoy being with lots of different nationalities, this is not a mainly British Hotel

We stayed at this hotel in mid september, weather was fab and we really enjoyed our stay at this lovely hotel. Staff were excellent, food choices were A1 some dishes could have been a bit warmer but thats about our only criticism. All diets were catered for (I am coeliac but found plenty of gluten free options) so for that alone were are going to book again for next year. Everything was spotless which is always a pleasant surprise at the tail end of the season.

This was our first wedding anniversary, and a holiday we won't forget. Short trip from airport, quick check in, and made to feel welcome from our arrival. Clean, spacious room, with wonderful views. Something for all the family to do during the day, in and around the pools with a superb entertainment team. Our sun had a fun 2 weeks with the kids club, who also made him very welcome, and our 1 year old had fun going to the baby club a few times on our stay. I also had the honour of winning a Top Dog t-shirt. These were won with some gentle banter between the guest which helped us make some great friends. Would seriously be looking to go again. Thank you Thomsons team, great job.

quick check in at 11.30pm - 1st stop from airport - and managed beer before bar shut. travelled with husband. first stayed room 222 which is big and facing sea lovely view, but apprehensive of steps leading to living room area. also too close to life if you want bit peace and quiiet. we asked to move to accessible room (with disabled access) room 405 which was great but design of shower area awkward because no "grab rails" didnt spoil holiday though. we only stayed in room to sleep and get ready. though the one day my husband was ill restaurant kindly provided polysterene box so i could have bite to eat and take away. we paid extra for tv channels 14 euros week that day but not many extra channels to choose from. we never tried the breakfast but the marmalade was recommended by fellow guest. the snacks available from 10am till 6pm in the fata morgana was sufficient to tide us over for the day. i did visit the nidos restaurant and i liked the decor - on smaller scale to main restaurant. there is adult only area in restaurant and food was varied and "interesting" stuff like goats stew and squid as well as meat, fish, pastas, salad, something to suit everyone really. help yourself to beer/fruit juices/hot drinks in the day (plastic glasses as they should be) but "real" glass in evenings at entertainment and main bar. pepe runs a really good bar and bar staff and the entertainment reps work really hard to give guests a good time, so far as we could see. we did visit the paying bar (cant remember the name) paid 3euros for beer which was served in plastic glass and wasnt even a pint! seemed to cater for our nordic cousins - didnt go back. local bar (franks) outside hotel was better and they served john smiths. entertainment in evening was ok but after 4 acrobat acts in 2 weeks wouldnt want to see another one. ventured into maspalomas - lovely walk along pier and few bars/restaurants to watch the world go by. playa del ingles yumbo centre very lively but not suitable for wheelchair users. also visited irish centre but seemed to be in need of refurbishment in the area (as you can probably read this we like our food and alcohol). murphys/ming restaurant worth visit and they show most football games cleaning was excellent and beds changed 5 times wk and cleaned 5 times week. towel n bins changed the other 2 days. thompsons reps at hotel every day at times to help and answer queries. would go back to hotel but hopefully when most of children in school!!! i would like to thank airport rep who helped me find our passports which i had left on seat - grateful thanks. what was good is they dont take your AI bracelet off until you leave hotel unlike similar AI hotels.
