We liked this place a lot as you could sit in our outside. Bill looked after us fantastically and would recommend the fish soup with rice!

Now the tunnel by passes Ferreries, there is no passing trade. However, this restaurant has maintained its standards and now benefits from being a suberb establishment in a quiet location.

We were looking for a good place to eat lunch that did not involve a long drive from our hotel, CaNaXini, and we came across this restaurant on TripAdvisor and decided to give it a try. WOW! The food was fantastic, and we loved the atmosphere. All of the other diners seemed to be local neighborhood families enjoying traditional Menorcan dishes. One of our favorite restaurants on a 12-day trip to Spain from Seattle, WA.

Meson Rias Baixas was the top culinary experience we had during our holidays in Menorca. It is located in a small quiet plaza in Ferreries; nothing really picturesque, however what lacks in scenery, surpasses in taste. The octopus dish was the best we have ever tried, the gnocchi were divine and the home made dessert with local Menorcan cheese was mouth-watering! Your visit in Menorca will be incomplete if you fail to dine at this restaurant...
