So the holiday was cheap which about the best thing I can say about it!

No on the good side the reception team were lovely and once I had complained about my room we were moved to a great room overlooking the sea rather than a piece of concrete.

My issue lay with the very very poor quality of the food. Although the chefs had done their best with it the food was just awful. I was on my own with my 20 month old and they had nothing healthy on the kids counters - just frys and burgers etc.

Also dining room staff were miserable and would not help me at all. I was trying to carry hot tea with a small child wriggling in my arms and they said if they helped me they would have to help everyone???

Needs redecorating. There was a much newer and nicer 4 star hotel round the corner - wish I had gone there.

Stayed with my wife for three nights only on an all inclusive deal from groupon and we were really surprised with the level of service from all the staff, the quality of room (we had a seaview double), the quality of food and the area in general! Definitely recommend the all inclusive as the buffet restaurant covers all tastes. The drinking menu is quite good too. Local beer and cocktails are also included.

April/May 2013. My husband and I decided to book this holiday based on the rating on Trip Advisor. Also due to the fact that it is a predominantly German and Spanish resort. It feels more like a holiday when you do not speak the same language as everyone else. The staff all speak at least very basic English so no problems with communication. Our mistake was going self catering as eating out was quite expensive. The apartments only have a fridge with a tiny freezer compartment and 4 hobs. No oven. Therefore we had to settle for simple meals. Our apartment, which was in the E block, had an amazing uninterrupted sea view with our own sun lounger which was an unexpected bonus. The staff were all friendly and helpful. We were passed free drinks by the bar staff on several different occasions. The animation team were full of energy for the kids, could speak several different languages and were entertaining. The evening shows were so cheesy we ended up laughing so much but we were still very entertained. And it was free so we couldn't complain! The beaches either side of the resort were lovely and the caves are not far, Porto Cristo being about 7 minutes drive away. If you want to see all the sites, you must hire a car so that you do not miss the lovely little villages scattered around this beautiful Island. However, there is a bus stop just outside the resort centre for those who cannot drive. The only downsides were when we wanted to partake of the resorts buffet, it cost 20 euros each for the evening meal - now the buffet was good but that is quite expensive, we had no oven in the apartment, and we could not get wifi in our apartment, we had to go to the bar/wifi area of the complex to use our laptops/kindles for downloads etc. Also, we never knew what time the maid would turn up to make our bed, clean the floors, change towels etc so didn't know when we could have a lie in. The maid would sometimes turn up at 8.30am and sometimes 3pm! That being said, it didn't ruin our holiday. We loved it! Will recommend to family/friends.

Room Tip: E block had uninterrupted sea views.

Would not normally go for all inclusive breaks but it was perfect for what we needed and this hotel certainly represents good value under the all-in label. Seen through Groupon but we booked direct and worked a better deal. I'd not had the time to read previous reviews so didn't know about there being fewer English tourists but didn't make any difference. Staff were very friendly, starting with Mark the night concierge who immediately made us feel welcome, the waiting staff (all of whom seem to work at different times in the various restaurants and bars on the complex), and the entertainment team throughout the day. Were slightly unlucky with the weather in that the sun was out 2 out of the 4 days but no bother as we divided our time between lounging by the pool and playing the free sport mainly basketball, tennis and table tennis. Didn't do any group activities but many more to take part in. Pools good. Rooms with balconies very good, only slight downside as noted by a previous reviewer was a double room consists of two singles pushed together (maybe different in the family apartments or maisonettes away from the main blocks though). Food and drinks can't be faulted, excellent choice all day long. All three beaches less than 20 minutes walk away from the complex, furthest of the two together smaller but seem to offer more sand less seaweed. And if the weather closes in and you're not up for a drink then head straight for the spa (free with all-in) as there's 4 jacuzzis, different types of rain shower, sauna, steam rooms etc. All in all well worth the money

My husband and I booked a 4 night all inclusive break to the BPR at the VERY last minute (literally hours before flying!) so we didn't have huge expectations but were pleasantly surprised by what we found.

The hotel is predominantly a German / Spanish resort but this suited us as cheap AI + British tourists tends to be abit of a nightmare! The majority of the staff spoke good English so ordering wasn't a problem but they appreciated it when you made the effort to order in Spanish. We paid around £50pppn for an all inclusive stay and it was good value for money. There was an excellent range of choice at each meal and a few different restaurants to choose from. The tapas restaurant was excellent. The drinks choice was good and the cocktails were great. We found all the staff to be polite and helpful.

Our room was quite spacious with a lovely bathroom and nice balcony with a sea view. It was kept spotlessly clean everyday by the hardworking housekeeping staff. We paid a few pounds more when we booked to have a double bed so were slightly disappointed to find we had two single beds pushed together.

The hotel resort itself is large and has plenty to offer families. The animation team always seemed busy offering activities for both children and adults but we spent most of our time enjoying the sun by the pool. We did take advantage of the free use of the 'spa', tennis, mini golf and gym. We literally didn't spend any money at all during our whole stay which was great.

The surrounding area is lovely with nice beaches a short walk away and beautiful scenery.

All in all it was a good value break and we're glad to have been so fortunate to find this hotel for the price we paid.
