We stayed here for two nights in a block of rooms across from the main hotel. The rooms were a good size. The food was good it was a set menu but had a good choice, the service was a little slow. The pool area was good and you could go for a walk on the beach if you wanted.

If you are planning to go to this hotel dontttttt it's the worst hotel I've ever visited.
Only one night was a nightmare!!
Seriously, it's full of insects from the first door you enter until the room which is supposed to be cleaned out but no it was dirty woth all the dead and living insects on the floor! At least they should clean the room before we come and we we didn't even come early.
Plus there is nooooo wifi in the room! What hotel doesn't have a wifi in the room!! Even the 3g service was very weak.
And the exchange is 142 for 1$ like seriously!! Everywhere outside is 151.
And the food is not good at all
Bad bad badd!!

My wife and I visited this hotel as we wanted somewhere local to stay, as we intended to go on a Yala Safari. This place is quite close, and seemed reasonable, after having read some of the reviews on TripAdvisor. We checked in for one night on the 15th July 2017, and was shown to our Room 121, which is in a line of rooms, somewhere near the back of the hotel. The room itself was very large, with two double beds, and was very reasonably priced.

The bathroom was equally as big and well equipped, the TV and all other appliances worked well. We had travelled a few hours from the south, and as it was mid-afternoon, we decided to use the restaurant for lunch, prior to going on our safari. The food was excellent, which is more than can be said for the safari. We arrived back about 6ish, and decided to stay in the room for the evening, as there wasn’t really a lot of local amenities. The room service was also good, and we spent the night, watching movies on the TV, therefore we didn’t use the pool or the bar, or the Spa, but they all looked good.

Having only spent one night here, we didn’t really get a feel for the place, but it was clean, well decorated, the staff were ultra-friendly and the beds were well comfortable. (see my attached pictures) So therefore this place is highly recommended, we would return without a doubt.

Mark & Michaela.

Visited the hotel for a night. Spacious Room with two queen size beds. The staff was accomodating in providing needed amenities. Reception staff was amazingly friendly; so was some of the restaurant staff.
Hopefully will provide bottled water for free next time in the restaurant.
However, overall was a good experience.

We were afforded a warm welcome at the reception. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They went the extra mile to be helpful when we had special requests. e.g. an elderly member required a wheel chair and it was always on hand. The buffet had a mix of Sri Lankan and European cuisine. In fact when we were late they kept the buffet until we go there.

Although we were concerned about mosquitos there weren't any and they had repellant plugged in.

We are returning guests and will come back again. We stayed overnight in order to worship at the sacred sites. The hotel s about 5 min drive from the relevant main place of worship and other related places of worship is within about 1/2 hr drive.
