Although everyone says that it's a boutique hotel, we felt like at home. Clean rooms, good services, excellent swimming pool, various food, both breakfast and dinner, easter lunch with live bouzouki, we will come back! You have to go, at least one at your life time!

We have stayed at Louloudis Hotel every year since it opened.
We have never been disappointed. The staff is great and the rooms are modern and very clean. The hotel is very calm and peaceful-a great place to relax. Pachis Thassos is an undiscovered gem-the best Greece has to offer. Ths staff goes out of their way to please. If yolu are looking for a great value in one of the most beautiful spots in Greece go to Thassos and stay at Louloudis Hotel! Thomi. Kalliope, Sotiria and Georgos are great!

This small hotel is located in the northern part of the island. The rooms are clean and tidy. The beach of the hotel is some 250-300 meters far, so it is a 5min walk between the olive trees. A clean, quite and well organized is waiting for you. The breakfast was not bad, but some additions to the breakfast buffet would make many people happier.

My boyfriend and I stayed here for two weeks in July on a bed and breakfast basis. The room was above average compared to other times i have stayed in Greece. It was clean and comfortable with a large fridge, a pretty good shower and a lovely sea view. The TV in the room was an old one but we didn't go to Greece to watch TV so we never switched it on! The air-con was chargeable which isn't unusual but so was the safe which we felt unacceptable - something like that should be included.

The hotel itself was nice with a good pool and pool bar. The breakfast was a bit basic in its appearance but actually very nice - i ate feta practically every day. The service provided by the staff was good and helpful although the manageress didn't seem to deal with much herself!

People are not joking when they say there is no shop in the area - there isn't anything. So, it was helpful to be able to get bottled water from the bar. There is a big supermarket about 2 miles away but it was far too hot to walk there. Instead we asked the hotel to book us a taxi who took us there, waited while we did a quick trolley dash and than brought us back. This was great so that we could buy water in bulk and bread, meats and beers etc to drink while sitting on the balcony watching the sunset.

We never ate dinner at the hotel and instead ate at the restaurant in the bay and then the one at the very end of the beach.

The hotel's beach bar is great - a real highlight of the holiday. The staff were friendly, the beer was ice cold, the ice cream choice was huge and the sun beds were free and spread very far apart so there was no sense of overcrowding.

Take plenty of books as there is absolutely nothing to do in this area. We attempted to go into Thassos Town a couple of times but gave up on all but one occasion as the bus never turned up. We did a boat trip one day which was good - this allowed us to see other beaches on the island and we definitely felt that the Louloudis one was the best.

If you are looking for an utterly relaxing time with no distractions, lots of sun and books, good food and lots of beer then this is perfect.

We visited Thassos this September and it was the loveliest holiday so far. The hotel had its share in this experience. The whole place is very well attented and clean, with polite and helpful personnel.

We had a double room that was cleaned on an almost daily basis. The room was equipped with a fridge and a sink. As we were on a half board basis the fridge was quite useful for keeping fruits or water. We didn't pay for the air conditionning although as far as I understood there were guests who did. It seems to depend on the travel agency you booked your holiday with. Don't expect to see the same "glamour" of the rooms as the one you find in the photos from their site. The rooms are nice, clean, with a small balcony, tiles on the floor and an old TV :)

We very much appreciated the free wi-fi available in the reception and pool area. As we had a room close to these, we were lucky and had it also in the room, with a poorer signal though.

Food was excellent and much better than some of the all-inclusive resorts we've been to. Breakfast was quite the same every day but rich enough not to create frustration for our 10 days stay. We are vegetarians and didn't have any problems. Plenty of fruits (the best peaches we've eaten so far), croissants, different types of eggs, salads, croissants, jams, the famous Greek yoghurt, you name it. Dinner was so good and full of traditional Greek food that we didn't regret for a second choosing to go half board. My only problem was that there was no written indication regarding the name of the dishes so I had to ask almost every night what it was. No big fuss though.

Plenty of bees by the way but, then again, no one else seemed to be bothered by them but us :)

The beach is close to the hotel and they provide free sunbeds as long as you have a drink. We didn't use this beach as we discovered the lovely Glifoneri beach and tavern and we went there almost every day.

The island is great. Visiting the villages of Kazaviti and Theologos is a must. Splendid beaches, friendly people, perfect weather, crystal clear water, excellent food. This is the first time we already know where our next holiday will be. And the hotel will definetely be the Louloudis.

We stayed at the Louloudis hotel in August for a week. It is a lovely hotel in a very peaceful location. We went half board but only ate in the hotel on three evenings not because the food wasn't good but there were lots of authentic Greek restaurants nearby. The breakfast is wonderful. The rooms are lovely and decorated to a very high standard.
The beach is very close and the Louloudis have their own beach bar, the sunbeds are free.
We hired a car for two days and saw the whole island! There is only one road all the way round and some spectacular beaches!!
All in all a wonderful holiday.

Hello,

We stayed there in May'12 for 3 nights and we managed to get a very nice HB package. The hotel is great and most of the rooms have a partial sea-view. Our room was very spacious, (and I beleve all other rooms are like that), full of light and decorated in a fashionable way. Our balcony was quite big with a seated area (a table and 2 chairs). The food was really fine, especially the dinner was delicious. The main town was around 8-10 km away and as we were by car we went there almost every day. Louloudis Hotel has a beach bar just 150 meters from the hotel and you can enjoy the nice beach there. This was our second visit to Thassos and we had an amazing time.
Just a hint - if you love olives and olive oil - Thassos is probably one of the best places you can enjoy and buy them. I highly recommend you to visit the village of Rachoni (just a few km from Louloudis Hotel) and just across the Church in the village you can find a small edifice (store-house) where you can buy Organic olives and olive oil. The owner is native and offers home-made exceptional quality products.

Regards,
VessiD
