We loved everything about this restaurant. The view over the marina are beautiful, the food is extraordinary (fresh and creative), the service is excellent. We stopped by for lunch one day and enjoyed it so much we went back a couple days later. Surprisingly, the waiter remembered us and what we had ordered! We enjoyed going to the kitchen to check out the fresh fish available that day - and the great explanations the owner gave us about each of them. Loved the first course salads too.

We were staying at the Notos just below the restaurant and found To Psaraki when we went for an evening walk.

A small menu but over 3 nights we tried a lot of it and it was delicious. Choice of fish was fabulous and we always chose the fish we wanted to eat from the ice drawer. The staff were friendly and very proud of the wonderful restaurant they had created.

Don't miss it!

Visited Psaraki's two times with family for lunch. The Vlychada beach is a perfect hide-away from the more crowded beaches in Santorini and with the best fish restaurant we came across during our 10 day stay in the Cyklades.

This restaurant is a gem. We visited for a very late lunch (4pm) after visiting one of Santorinis famed black beaches. It was bit difficult to find - turn left before you hit the port at Vlychada, as it is located on the bluff above the port.

Every dish we ordered was a home run. We ordered anchovies that were not at all salty and very flavorful. Fried squid was the best I have had in recent memory - coated with a delicate and paper-thin batter and fried to perfection. "Grilled goat cheese" does not begin to describe how delicious this locally produced cheese can be. The smoked Santorini eggplant was also exceptional - the eggplants, locally grown, are lighter than air and almost seem "puffed." Santoini tomatoes are very special - I suppose because they grow with very little water, the flavor is concentrated. The boiled greens were a bit salty but very interesting - we love bitter greens, and they taste like cooked dandelion. The fish soup was the local version of "boullaibaisse" without the saffron. I ordered this and my wife ate most of the bowl - I had a hard time wrestling it away from her for a taste- which was so good I wanted to order more but wer were stuffed by this time. Her fish gyro, a special for the day, was very good and the fish was feesh and satisfying.

The staff are very helpful, and attentive. Our table overlooking the harbor was stunning - a beautiful way to spend a late afternoon.

This was one of my favorite restaurants in all of Greece, and definitely my top choice for Santorini. Unfortunately, it is located somewhat away from the main cities in Santorini, but is is definitely worth a detour. BTW- the red beach "next door " to the harbor seemed not to have the usual chairs and umbrellas, so bring a towel if you want to sit on this beach.

We have visited this taverna on a number of occasions. We especially enjoy the mussels. Although listed as a starter on the menu, I find that along with the beautiful bread this constitutes a filling meal. The fish is beautiful and would recommend that you take the advice of the waiter when ordering. Overall a wonderful eating experience.
