“Cozy place with all facilities ”
Reviewed March 11, 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Away from crowds and mainstream tourists. The nomad's cottage has all facilities you would require, from comfy beds to warm blankets to hot water to good food. All in all its a good place to go to when you want some peace of mind, away from hectic city life.

“Oasis in Spiti”

Spiti is pretty dry and barren and remote. Consequently tourists are few and far between and generally adventure junkies who are willing to put up with compromises in hotel standards while getting their adventure fix. Thankfully Sahil Duggal who runs adventure tours in the region has stepped in to remedy that shortcoming.

The Nomad's Cottage in Losar is small, but a warm comfortable oasis to return to after you've had your daily fix of mountain biking or hiking. The rooms are warm and comfortable - and the staff cheerfully helpful, going out of their way to provide incredible meals even with the formidable obstacles to procuring fresh produce and meat in Spiti. There's a warm fire and a drink waiting every evening and Sahil has promised that coffee beans and a French press are on the upgrade list. If only he could get the internet connection to become more reliable he might just get 5 stars!!

“Home away from home”
Reviewed March 6, 2016 for a stay in October 2015

I visited Spiti Valley in oct 2015 with a group of friends and stayed in Nomad's cottage for a day. Extremely comfortable and homely place. Whatever we needed was provided to us. It was an experience in itself staying there and seeing the beautiful view from the room. Staff is very nice and courteous. We ate amazing food cooked by the staff. This trip was a life time experience for me. Really enjoyed staying at this place. amazing.

“A Nomadic visit to the "virgin land"”
Reviewed February 7, 2016 for a stay in February 2016

The Nomad's cottage. I have stayed there for a week. I am impressed by the kind of hospitality they maintain in such remote area.

Rooms with the very close view of snowy peak mountains. Very neat and clean set up. Humble and active staff. Very supportive all the time. Good local & customized food. What else one needs.
I recommend the stay big time.

And the guy who runs the show "Sahil Duggal" very friendly and man with the heart. If you are in spiti you have to be with him. His deep knowledge of the area and relation with the villagers will leave with a smiling face all the way. He will make you do the best available things in the vicinity weather it's hiking cycling motorbiking photography. Anything you want to do he will give you the best guidance.

Cheers to the "Team Nomad".

“A must trip to heaven on Earth !”
Reviewed November 11, 2015 for a stay in October 2015

A picture says more then a thousand words!
All I can say is do visit such gems in India rather heaven on Earth with your good best oldies. Recommend time to travel is late June to early October. But as we visited during last month of October 2015, due to bad weather (for us what we expected :) lucky enough to find snowfall with beautiful picturesque location. SAHIL, the man behind this trip and owner of Nomad's, had advised us in all different aspects like travel time, travelling car with a very good driver, temperature, etc. Very difficult for people from Mumbai or more specifically south to sustain below -20 C but was an awesome experience and just love it! All necessary facilities were provided like room heating (fire camp), tasty food, 3-4 blankets to cover while sleeping and more importantly place is "Out of the World".
Lastly I would say why to visit Switzerland & Antartica when our own country has such beauty. Awaiting to visit soon in next year June. Spiti, Lahaul, Losar here we come again !
