We stayed for 2 nights and were not disappointed. The location is good, very handy for Whitby and the Moors. Robin and Trish were first class hosts, nothing was too much trouble and they were very informative about the local area as regards walking, places to eat, visit etc. There are several walks straight from the door so you could leave your car quite securely. The breakfast was excellent and Robin and Trish use local produce and eggs from their own hens!! We were offered homemade cake when we arrived which was delicious. We stayed in Beatrice which even though is the smallest room it was very cosy and comfortable. We would certainly recommend Sherwood Glen and we will certainly return without hesitation. Bob, Robin and Trish's delightful dog deserves a mention too!! He was charming!! Quite a character!!
