La Scarpetta is a combination of incredible food - the seafood was incredibly fresh, the lobster and scallop ravioli specials, were particular standout meals. The shoulder of lamb was a huge portion of very well cooked, quality meat. We ate here twice during our stay. The owner is a funny guy, he is extravagant and a bit OTT, but harmless and funny. He picked our wines, including a delicious prosecco, we were given complimentary bruscetta and a whole bottle of homemade limoncello on our last night which was delicious. Again couldn't fault it. Very reasonable for the huge portions and excellent quality of the seafood.
