Good restaurant. friendly staff and prompt service. Excellent food and beautifully presented . Mainly fish dishes but lovely flavours, and well cooked. Prices are a little more expensive to other restaurants nearby but the quality is very good. I do object to putting bread on the table and then charging but that apart, an excellent meal. recommended .

We went to Placeres on the basis of your reviews and were so pleased with our meal that we went back 3 days later.
The tapas selections of starters and desserts mean you get an enormous variety of tastes and textures, and our main courses were of a consistently high quality. Prices are higher than many others, but you definitely get value for what you pay.
Service is very friendly, and there is a nice ambience
My only complaint is that the quality of wine was inconsistent, although I could just have been unlucky
If you like quality dining, this is definitely the place to go

we booked at Placeres on the recommendation of a friend, so the pressure was on Pablo and Anna to deliver to kick off our first night of our hoildays..We weren't dissapointed..Greeted like friends from the off. We sat outside on the terrace and although chilly, blankets were provided and outside heaters which were a nice touch..All the food was beautifully presented, cooked perfectly and you are allowed to enjoy your evening, helped along by Anna's genuine humour and friendliness.. fantastic food, good wine, lovely ambience..couldn't have been better..so much so, at the end of our evening we booked for the last night of our holidays..on our return again nothing could be faulted..Anna remembered us and was the perfect hostess and made sure we had another lovely evening..worth the few extra euros....top tip..try the stuffed prawns on safron rice..every mouthfull is a taste sensation.. already looking forward to a return trip, it's an absolute must.

We were inspired to pay a visit to this restaurant from reading the excellent revues on Trip Adviser and our dining experience exceeded our expectation. We went on Saturday the 19th of January to celebrate our anniversary, the food was exquisite in quality and presentation, the service was attentive yet unobtrusive and the ambience was genial and warm. The atmosphere and the tenure of the evening was greatly enhanced by live music, this was provided by a very proffessional and sophisticated musician who accompanied his rich and warm voice with magically executed piano accompaniment. My husband requested a prawn cocktail to start, this was not on the menu but it is his favourite entree, on arrival several large and juicy prawns were adorned with a crisp tropical and fruity surrounding salad, he asured me it was as delicious as it looked. I chose scallops, there were five, beautifully seared and dressed with a variety of tasties...one with caviar, one with caramelised sweet onion, one with with fresh cranberry's.. ect ect. just divine. Mike then had a fillet steak with a three pepper sauce, the meat was first class and cooked to perfection. I chose the 'catch of the day' which arrived as two succulent Cherne steaks, just divine, the portions were more than ample but not overfacing. The restaurant was totaly full and a number of people sitting on the harbour wall opposite were enchanted by the music, every diner that evening was full of compliments for the food, the service, and the live musician Joel who was constantly appreciated by loud applause and a well deserved STANDING OVATION after completing a three hour non-stop program of well chosen and delightfull songs. All in all this was a night to remember and we shall savour our dining experience at PLACERES with affection, we will certainly return and we will definately reccomend this wonderfull restaurant to our friends and associates

The food was very much at the "cordon bleu" end of the scale - very fancy, and fairly small portions. The place was quiet the night we went, and lacked atmosphere. Couldn't fault the service, but this was the most expensive meal of the week by some margin. Doesn't warrant it's high rating in my view- other lower rated places were much better.
