“Fantastic cafe”
Reviewed July 13, 2014

This is a really lovely place with a great atmosphere. There is a proper Italian coffee machine so we had real espresso, somthing we haven't seen much in Norway. The carrot cake and cinnamon rolls were great. There is free wifi. A short queue was quicly served and there are lots of tables. If I lived near here I would be in here every day! They also serve pizza and sandwiches.

“Wonderful relaxed cafe”
Reviewed September 2, 2013 via mobile

This was a great find. It is a very pretty cafe that makes and sells candles and tasteful gifts. The cafe is colourful and full of character. The staff are welcoming and the food delicious.

“Cosy atmosphere, delicious cakes”
Reviewed July 4, 2013 via mobile

Very nice place, popular and cosy. Tasty food! Spent a few minutes in line to place the order, but that was due to lots of visitors rather than slow staff. Good value for money. If I lived in Henningsvaer, this would be my favorite place!

“Hip urban cafe in an idyllic town”
Reviewed April 30, 2013

Although the clientele changes dramatically whether you are here on a saturday/sunday morning or early afternoon, or at any other time, this is a completely unexpected wonderful place to have some coffee and sweets. Since their prime audience is the weekend crowds of people from all around Lofoten, their best stuff is found then: fresh scones, cinnamon rolls, waffles and other pastries, in addition to slices of pies and cakes, but they always have something and an extensive range of teas and coffee, nothing like the simple black coffee you are likely to get seemingly anywhere else in the archipielago.

“Magical”
Reviewed March 15, 2013

We found this cafe by chance, roaming around Henningsvaer on a cold and sunny March day. There were few customers and half an hour before closing time the kitchen was already cleaning up (i.e. no cappuccinos, no food etc - just coffee and tea and what was on the table) but what lacked in service was made up by the atmosphere.
The cafe is a typical Norwegian styled room which I love: mismatched chairs, mismatched tables, mismatched glasses and mugs, colours everywhere. But what makes it even more special are the candles! It seconds (or firsts?) as a candle shop and there are candles everywhere, hung from rafters, stuck on walls, fitted onto chandeliers and placed on tables. The colour coordination with the doors, painting and odds and ens is incredible: evidently the owner/s is a person with the most sophisticated taste. Incredible beautiful and definitely a place I'd go to once a day if I lived there!
Congratulations to a cafe worthy of Paris!
