We recently stayed at the seaview paradise for a week and a half and had a great time. We travelled with our 11 month old son and this accommodation was ideal. It's definitely not the fanciest accommodation around but the room we had was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was great for preparing simple meals but there are so many restaurants nearby which have great cheap food. There is also a family mart a really short walking distance away for basic groceries. There is also a huge Tesco supermarket about 20 mins walk away that had a huge range of nappies, formula and anything else you would expect to buy at a large supermarket. I even bought a decent baby carrier here fairly cheaply.
It's also a nice walk along the beach into a Lamai town
The beach is so close with 2 beautiful big trees that provided shade all day so we didn't have to worry about our son getting sunburnt, this is a feature I really didn't notice at any other resort and we were really happy that our son could play in the sand as long as he wanted.
The staff were so friendly and welcoming and seemed to really enjoy playing with our son, it felt really sad to leave! The staff provided us with a huge bucket of sand toys for our little boy to play with which was really appreciated.
The only drawback was the noise from a pub across the road which had live music most nights. Our little boy wasn't disturbed by this at all which was a relief but if you are noise sensitive at night get a room closer to the beach.
We would definitely stay here again if we visit Samui again one day.

We appreciated having you with us. Thanks for your many helpful hints about items that everyone can relate to. I will be talking to the owner of the pub and see if we can improve that in the future.

Just returned from this resort and we (my wife and I and my 16 year old daughter)found it to be exactly what we were looking for,so much so I am looking at returning in April. The beach villas are very spacious and well equipped, the staff cannot do enough for you and the place is spotlessly clean.I live and own business in Sharm el Sheikh so I know what people expect when they go on their vacation and I believe that it meets all your requirements. Please be advised that this is not a hotel so don't expect to be waited on hand and foot, everything that you need for home comforts, bars, restaurants, shopping etc is within a 5 to 15 minute walk depending on your needs. The staff arranged for us to hire a car during our stay and it could not have been easier inquired in the evening and it was there when i woke up no questions asked.Hope to see you all again soon guys.Andy,Monica and Melissa.

Room Tip: Any of the beach villas are just what the doctor ordered.I believe the mountain villas are just as good, but didn't stay there so can't comment.Enjoy.

We are very happy you valued your stay with us so highly. We also valued our time with you all the same way. Especially during our Guests/Owners night out. Hopefully we'll meet again in April.

spent 3 great days at that hotel with my friend back in 2012.
we were staying at a mountain villa located pretty high. the view was increadible. the swimming pool's just amazing. very hospitable staff and of course the owner Garry. he used to visit us few times. few moments (like my BF got a jelly fish kiss right after he broke a bike at the hotel territory) could not alloy our staying.
this year I'll send there my mom with her friend.
dont go there if you are disgusted with some insects and tods. there are plenty of them, but they all are cute.

We stayed in a beach villa over Christmas and had a wonderful time. Our original booking was for a garden villa (which is smaller and in need of some TLC) but when we arrived Gary upgraded us to a beach villa and was extremely helpful and courteous sorting it out. The garden villa is more budget but still fine if you don't mind no window in the front bedroom, it's also closer to the road but if you want to spend less and stay in a lovely place then it might be an option for you. The Seaview paradise has it's own private beach so no hawkers or crowds and the centre of lamia is a 10 minute walk away or 3 mins in a taxi, there's a mini mart and coffee place over the road as well as a couple of great Thai places to eat. We all loved it here and have already planned to go back next Christmas for a week, cannot recommend this place enough

We have just returned from a fabulous stay in Thailand and were lucky enough to spend Christmas at Seaview paradise. The beach bungalows are lovely and spacious, the resort is beautifully presented with wonderful staff, and great value. We spent a night on the beach at the Christmas BBQ which was an amazing experience! Perfectly situated near to town but on a private section of the beach. Thank you Gary and Thip, we're coming back next year :-)
