Rocky's is the only place you should consider staying on the island - not only is the resort itself absolutely beautiful, but the staff are absolute delights. Helpful, friendly, and generally a true enhancement to the experience. Each staff member seems truly interested in making sure that your vacation is the best it can be.

Both of the 2 on-site restaurants are delightful, the first offering beautifully done western-style meals that include perfect steak and seafood (in addition to a bountiful and well rendered breakfast buffet) and the second traditional Thai cuisine. Either way, you'll be pleased.

Spa services are affordable and professional and offer a great compliment to your stay. Rocky's is a delight.

Everything was perfect, Room (upgrade given ), location, service, staff, food and attention to detail.

Staff super friendly and helpful. Great service cat breakfast and by the pool

Room was luxurious.

Will certainly return.

Spent 5 nights here with two very young children(4mths and 3 years old). It is simply superb! We were lucky enough to travel here in low season so hotel was very quiet. It has all the quality of a 5 star hotel and the charm and vibe of a fabulous small boutique hotel. Impossible to list all of the positives but here are a few...

1. Friendly and extremely helpful staff who are not overly intrusive and respect your space
2. Fabulous rooms with lots of space( we were in 603 beside upper pool)
3. Extremely comfortable beds
4. Rooms are immaculate and cleaned so well with even a top up clean late in the afternoon where they dress down your bed and leave a special treat
5. Grounds are absolutely beautiful- so green and flowers everywhere
6. Beautiful Pools and plenty of sun loungers in sun and shade
7. Staff top you up all day with ice cool water and there are often fruit snacks provided
8. Breakfast is top notch- the a la carte menu has loads of great egg options- highly recommend the egg white frittata.
9. Free kayak to use and swim shoes on beach. Beach is just perfect for young children!
10. Kids club/playroom available full of toys! A nice escape from heat. Kids over 3 can be left in there and open all day. Fantastic facility!
11. Food is amazing.

On the downside- the food in the restaurants is very expensive( granted one of the restaurants is fine dining). It is very good though!

The staff were so good- they provided us with a baby bath and a bottle sanitiser which was greatly appreciated!

The resort is very private but they do provide transport/shuttles to lamai and chaweng.

Highly recommend this resort to couples, families..friends. We found it exceptional!

My first time at Rocky's was 2 years ago, when my eldest daughter had her wedding there. It was the best experience of our lives. The rooms, restaurant and pool areas, plus beach and garden were absolutely beautiful. The staff were amazing and we were all blown away by this wonderful resort. Everything has been thought of from toothbrushes, shower caps, his/hers straw hats, his/her flip flops and basket for the pool, slippers, gowns, umbrellas, etc. My daughter's wedding, which was arranged by the wedding planner for Rocky's, the fantastic Ann McGeorge, was magical.

When my youngest daughter was planning to get married, having it at Rocky's was a no brainer! The resort is under a new manager, who goes by the name of Yun. She is a delight! You will not find her ensconced in her air-conditioned office, but out and about, checking that everything is running perfectly and that both guests and staff are kept happy.

Ann McGeorge, the wedding planner is another delight! She worked her magic again, making my youngest daughter's dream come true. Nothing was too much trouble and everything ran like clockwork. She organised the photographer, videographer, make up, hair, flowers, etc., all of them fantastic. Ann also managed to get the same Celebrant, Paul Rambo, who did my eldest daughter's wedding. He made the ceremony so special and romantic and even he admitted to getting goosebumps during the ceremony!

Every evening, one of the staff would turn down the bed, put on the lamps, light the perfumed lamp in the bathroom, put bottled water out and leave sweets or biscuits on the pillows. The room was kept spotless by the cleaners coming in every morning. The standard at Rocky's is the highest that I have ever experienced at any hotel or resort.

We will definitely all be returning to Rocky's Resort for another holiday. Everyone should be able to experience a holiday like this, even if it's just once in their lifetime.

This hotel is fantastic. I dont have one negative thing to say about it. The hotel and grounds are just stunning. It’s so tropical, with lovely little fish ponds scattered around, the rooms are spotless and decorated beautifully.

The staff are the friendliest people I’ve ever encountered in my life, all of them made such a fuss of my one year old every day she loved it. My mother left her glasses there when we left and after contacting the hotel they found them and posted them to us which i can’t thank them enough for.

The food at the hotel where we ate frequently for breakfast and lunch was delicious, every meal was faultless.

The hotel organised a few excursions for us. We rented their private boat and did some snorkelling and fishing which was great fun and the boat staff were really kind and friendly. Then we did an island tour and again the driver was great and very knowledgeable. We also took advantage of the free transport into lamai and chaweng.

We ate out most nights in lamai which is 5 minutes in a taxi as there are lots of restaurants, all different cuisines. We also spent evenings in fisherman’s village, bophut, which personally I think is a nicer town than lamai, it’s definitely worth getting out and visiting other towns as chaweng has a lot nicer shops, beach and restaurants than lamai also.

We had an amazing 2 weeks here and loved every minute, I highly recommend this hotel.
