“On the beach, hydro pool villa, good food, friendly staff”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 4, 2013

Can you ask more of a place to stay for 3 weeks? We recommend this Boutique hotel in Lamai Beach. It is an Oasis in the middle of the busy main street and with a nice area going directly down to the private beach.
The hydro pool villas are nice and comfortable. Pls note that 60 m2 includes also the atrium and the pool! The living room is fairly small, but the villa is nice and comfortable and you can relax without being disturbed by anyone.
Breakfast at beachside is varied and good. Waiters extremely observant and kind. All staff in the resort do es their best to help you in a very friendly way.
And the hotel is located judt in the middle of the road going through Lamai, so you have shops, stalls and restaurants just on your doorstep, but without any disturbance when you go to the resort. There is a small gym for exersize as well.
The Patio Restaurant is among the best in Lamai and it offers theme nights, such as a Thai night with Thai food and entertainment, an Italian night with pasta etc, a Seafood night og a Steak night.
We would recommend this place for a nice stay in Lamai Beach area.
Not cheap, though - but worth the money if you look for a good offer on one of the hotel websites with discounts.

Room Tip: A hydro pool villa gives you your own small swimming pool with total privacy.

The good:
Beautiful resort, Great rooms, great main pool/pool bar area, great food. Great location, on the end of the main Lamai strip (shops, resturants, bars etc). Great service, always happy to help with anything.
The bad:
Beach sand is very coarse, not good to walk on at all!! Pool villas are very close together and we could see over the walls into the next villas and there are rooms above who's balconys looked straight in to our pool area. No privacy....

Room Tip: Get the only big pool villa that is right on the beach, If you can afford it. Amazing!! It's the...

On the beach, far enough from the river, central to all the restaurants, bars and shops but far enough away to not be noisy. Beautiful views of the beach. We loved having the night market on our doorstep. excellent

We stayed at this hotel recently for 6 nights on our way back to Australia after spending 2 cold and rainy weeks in the UK. the resort is exceptional... Central to all the restaurants, bars and shops but far enough away to not be noisy. We organised a transfer from Koh Samui airport with the hotel and the driver was there waiting for us when we arrived. The resort backs straight onto the beach so you can choose between swimming in the pool or ducking into the ocean. The only negative comment we had was the price of the drinks at the bar, but considering the quality of the hotel is was not really a problem (and you could walk down to one of the many local bars and find considerably cheaper options)... The breakfast was great and the staff were all, without exception, fantastic! Would definitely visit again!!

An absolutely fantastic resort. The staff are extremely professional and attentive to your needs. The location is wonderful and situated along the nicer part of Lamai beach. We loved having the night markets on our doorstep and taking walks along the busy stretch, browsing at all the lovely shops. Definitely reccommended for fellow travellers, do yourself a favour and BOOK THIS RESORT!

Room Tip: The hydro pool villas are much larger and worth the extra amount as opposed to the plunge pool suite...

We have just returned from 6 wonderful nights at the Pavilion. The rooms are clean, large and well furnished. The staff are fantastic and are always happy and helpful. The beach location is terrific. The evening menu is extensive and international. If you do want to explore the island, hire a motorbike for less than US$10 a day. A thoroughly relaxing holiday at Pavilion Samui.
