Great location situated at the end of the busy strip so away from the noise. The staff are really helpful and can't do enough for you. The beach is stunning and not as commercial as Chaweng so good for chilling but only a stone throw away from the hustle and bustle of Lamei.

We stayed for 2 nights whilst waiting for rooms at another location. The hotel service is great , well trained staff, & free wifi everywhere which seems to work well.
Food at beach front restaurant is good, low priced and great ambieance/view.
Hotel has a pool and beach ,both with sunbeds.
Rooms are good for the price with fridge , coffee/tea facilities, aircon, saftey deposit box,, satellite TV, hairdryer and room service. Discounts are available if you email them through their website at www.samuilaguna.com We were offered 37% to 40% discount on published rack rates if we extended to a week. However, later I checked Booking.com and they were quoting Baht 100 per night less than I had been quoted so shop around. Low season rooms can be as low as Baht 1500- double per night including tax and service and breakfast. There is low season rates , high season rates and peak rates for Christmas.
Location is excellent with restaurants and shops all nearby and walking distance . Lamai Beach is a quieter area than Chaweng so not so many bars and discos, so hotel is excellent for mature couples & retired couples (like us ) or families. If you are young and want "some bar and disco action"' , stay at Chaweng Beach instead...........Green Mango is famous .

Room Tip: Ask for room with balcony in main building which look into a small garden with trees, these are the cheapest rooms but some have no balcony. There are 2 bungalows on the beach , most expensive of all rooms (naturally) but worth it. Book early ,these are popular

I recommend this hotel to all travelers, families, couples, solo travelers alike.

Sitting at the top of Lamai Beach directly on the beach this hotel has a big "Welcome" written all over it. The hotel looks inviting and everything is like the photos. Staff is naturally friendly and smiling, ready to help and assist you in any way.

I had a standard room in the main building overlooking the laguna, and I enjoyed every day sitting on the balcony with a cup of complementary coffee looking at life on the street. Room has nice wooden floors, nice size, all you need with the exception of a luggage rack to put suitcase on, but that is minor.

The restaurant offers a good breakfast and good service all day. Western style food is not what they are best at, but that was the case with most restaurants there. It's a nice place to sit with a good book and a drink looking at the sea and life on the beach.

Beach is kept clean, staff is attentive, enjoy a sandwich and a coke on the sun bed. Small coral reef close to the right so get snorkeling. Rent a Hobiecat Getaway and go sailing for a bit.
The pool looks nice, but most people went to the beach instead.

All in all I was very pleased with Samui Laguna Resort and I could easily go back next time I visit Samui.

Spacious, comfortable, good location. The breakfast room is adjacent to the first one. Clean Fair. Nice big pool. The service is available. Is impressive enough. Buffet breakfast. Less food types. When guests. To lap it up. Employees did not come up. Hotel of this size, quality and quantity of food to be prepared to give more. The towels are old and should be replaced.

stayed here with my best mate this summer, thought we would treat ourselves seeing as we had been roughing it and had an awful stay in Krabi.
Loved this place, welcoming, friendly, good beach, great resturant, great rooms, great surrounding area.

Room Tip: Ask for beach facing high rise
