“Fairly good Indian food”

Had a nice dinner here and it was pretty cheap. Service was good and food tasty. Had the special sizzling chicken dish which was really good. Not blown away but would go back.

“Tandoori Frights”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

Walked in and the TV was blasting out with staff/owners (?) sat eating and watching.

I was brought two side sauces which were runny and completely unappetising.

My main arrived within minutes of my order so were unlikely to have been cooked freshly. The herbs in the sauce still had the stems and twigs attached. Taste of the sauce, fair.

Plusses. The naan was good and the food spicy as requested.

Will I be back. Not much chance.

“Great Indian Food”
Reviewed September 1, 2013

The service and food were excellent. My family ate twice at this restaurant and after the first visit they greeted us like family and were extremely attentive to our needs.

“Just cheap Indian food”
Reviewed August 17, 2013 via mobile

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Yes, the men standing at the sidewalk beckoning you in are entertaining, but that's the highlight of the restaurant. We got the advertised package meal for two, which was fairly inexpensive, but certainly not exceptional. The fish tandoori was totally mushy and undercooked. We just left it. The vegetable korma and naan were the best part of the meal. If you go here, you're probably better off sticking to the simple vegetarian dishes. The server was also confused as to whether we were ordering one meal for two or two meals for two, which didn't make sense given that we were two people. Maybe it was a language barrier, but he just didn't seem familiar with the advertised special that was posted on the billboard outside.

“Delicious!”
Reviewed August 16, 2013

We just got back from our second dinner at Tandoori Nights, and it was just as good second time round. The food is tasty and freshly prepared (ask for spicy if you want it more like you'd get in India) and the service is friendly and efficient. In fact, we enjoyed it so much we'll go back for a third visit before we leave.
