Spent several days of our holiday here already, service is brilliant, especially the owner Greg! Food is delicious particularly the salads! Great value for money and just enjoy spending the day here!

“Best coffee on Lamai Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 9, 2014

Highly recommend the coffee at this beachside cafe. We did try the breakfast one morning - it was ok but we came back time and time again for their great lattes.

“A very good beach restaurant on Lamai Beach”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

Since the food & service @ Bikini Bar has gone to hell, I have been trying other beach restaurants on Lamai Beach. Had lunch @ Baobab the other day w/ a friend from Japan. We ordered spring rolls, glass noodle soup with minced pork, & flank steak w/ french fries. Portions were big & delicious, though the spring rolls & fries were a little greasy. Prices were reasonable. The oversize menus were fun. I'll be back.

“Disappointing(((((”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 18, 2013

We visited Baobab for a lunch and ordered some Thai traditional food - tom yam soup and pad thai and we were very disappointed that both were not original and authentic tom yam and pad thai. In tom yam many of the ingredients were missing, that naturally made the soup look and taste strange and not the way it should be, pad thai had missing ingredients too, and some were in a very little quantity like nuts, for example, and again - the taste was not the one I expected to be. Obviously guys in Baobab think that this quality is enough for tourists, but they are mistaken. There are much better places in Lamai beach that serve 100% thai food. Wherever I am, I am always disappointed by a place if someone think I can be served wrong just because of the fact that I am a tourist. They tricked with thai food, they can trick with any other choice from their menu. So, I would not recommend the place for visiting, there are much better ones around there, and on the beach too.

“If you are on Lamai beach-visit Baobab”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 24, 2013

We have been to Koh Samui twice (Lamaibeach) and we are going a third time in june 2014.
The best way to spend your day at lamai beach is to go to Baobab .They have sunbeds for everybody and you can stay in the sun or under a parasol.

The food is superb and they have good sallads (try the bossallad!),thaifood and westernfood.
Greg usually fix different desserts and pasteries from a french bakery- I LOVE IT,
Greg and Indy are perfect hostess and they have very good stafe and all of them are very servicemainded.
