We stay and have a dinner here. The food is taste good with a good atmostphere of ocean view. I order Angus beef steak , Veel shank and sphagetti. Everything is good with a good service
The price is high as same as the place but reasonable.

Extensive variety if you're looking for local food or a break from it. Pizzas are thin crust and you can put whatever you want on them. We ate the gazpacho every day. Best morning glory I had in Thailand. Breakfast wasn't included for us, but we're glad we paid for it. Be sure to get a little fruit drink shot (or a couple) at breakfast - some sort of wake up drink, delicious!! Everything was top notch with the exception of the lobster - definitely not worth the price nor sacrificing other delicious choices. Excellent service, though their English needs improving.

We just had Dinner at the restaurant by the pool. It was my boyfriend 's BD. We had a very warm welcome, the staff lead us to the table by the pool. The foods are excellent !! At the end I would like to surprise my bf with BD cheese cake. The chef and staff came and sang BD song at our table. That was very impressed me and my bf. Moreover Luke the restaurant manager has managed a good team and excellent staff. All of them are out standing and done very great job.
Thank you very much for the great service. We are definitely come back !!!

Its very rare to stay at a hotel that has great food. Lunch and dinner is open to the public so even if you're not a guest is worth swinging by the Meridian if you're looking for an upscale dining experience with delicious fresh food, impeccable service and breathtaking ambiance plus the view of course.

Every thing on the menu is prepared to order and is delicious. Try the Nasi Goreng from their traditional menu and the pizza from the European menue. It's pricy but worth it!

We ate in the Latest Recipe restaurant on 2 separate evenings during our stay at Le Meridien, and found the experience to be first class all the way. The setting and ambience is beautiful (almost reminiscent of Key West) with the large wooden 2 story structure, and the tables which all look out over the illuminated pool area and the palm trees flanking the beach. which in turn look out to Lamai Bay. The restaurant is open to the elements, therefore, you feel like you are dining outside and can enjoy the wonderful warm air and the pretty location.

The Thai food at this restaurant is as good (if not better) than any of of the Thai meals we ate during our 7 nights in Koh Samui. We sampled across the different nights beautifully spicy beef salad dishes, stuffed fried chicken legs, crab cakes, duck red curry, stir fried chicken with cashew nuts, and a beef Penang curry. Absolutely to die for.

The service is always professional and friendly and is headed up by Luke, the Restaurant & Events Manager, with his team finding the just right balance of everything. The wine is priced in line with other restaurants of this standard on Koh Samui (around £35/£40, or 1750 THB for a bottle of decent wine), and the poolside bar can serve up pre-dinner cocktails as required first. Always a good way to start an evening!

For non residents I would recommend booking a table for around 8.00pm and you will also enjoy the experience of arriving at the hotel resort, walking through the beautiful reception area, across the manicured floodlit garden area and into the grand restaurant itself. Very ambient and very special.

After dinner you can finish off with a drink in the Latitude bar just inside the reception pavilion. This bar is styled with wing backed arm chairs, ceiling fans, and intimate little tables, and overlooks the sunken pond filled with fibre optic lights in the open air traditional/contemporary reception building. It's very tranquil and relaxing, and you will wonder why you are not staying at this hotel yourself!
