The hotel is in a quite location between Lamai and Chaweng far from everything. The hotel is new and modern, located at the beach. Rooms are nice with flatscreen TV, DVD, mini bar. The floor in the rooms are white so they look all the time dirty. Bathroom has one sink, toilet a only a shower. We had ants in our shower on the wall...

The restaurant by the pool next to the beach was nice. If you want to eat i would reccomend to find some restaurant. If you ask for an espresso you will be dissapointed because they dont have an Espresso machine. Only breakfast was good.

The Beach - only for sun tanning, low water unable to swim, only in pool which was dirty! You can use the hotel kayak for free.

The staff was nice besides of the problem we had as we arrived they dont had our booked room so they upgraded us for one night then the next day we had to move to our room which was annoying to pack everything again.

There is a BIG PROBLEM with English language with all the staff!!

I woul look for a different Hotel in Koh Samui.

I went there with my wife for 3 nights. Took the Sea View Room. It was an awesome experience. Starting from the arrival to departure the hotel staffs from reception, cook, bar people are very friendly and very good behavior. The hotel is adjacent to the Lamai beach. So if you stay in this hotel actually you don't need to go out at all just sit near the beach and relax on the chairs provided by the hotel. Hotel also provide the kayaks. Hotel have good swimming pool as well near the beach which is also very good. Now come to the food, the foods in the hotel's restaurant is very good. out of 3 nights we ate there 2 nights.

In a few words I would say about this hotel is friendly, beautiful, lovely and a complete Paradise.

Whoever will visit Koh Samui I would suggest them to stay this hotel.

Room Tip: I stayed in Sea View Room which is very good. There is dorm type of normal rooms also which I didn...

This is a really nice hotel on the beach.
The room had a fantastic wiev over the beach and it was really nice to wake up with this view.
The restaurant was good and served a nice breakfast.
The staff was friendly.
It is situated outside the town and the taxis are pretty expensive.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with seaview

The palm coco mantra resort is a good hotel with an ideal locatin if you want a cosy bay and sun bathe, abit far away from main strip. Good room but lacking a bath which I think is a must! Very very good spa and massage facilities, abit pricey but well worth it! Very good restaurant on site wih the most friendly and attentive staff you could ask for! Would definatly come back :)

After arriving here we discovered that the rooms we had booked and paid for we're not available, and we had to staying their rooms until ours were available.then all of us(four in total)had to share a room the following night and then only could our. Holiday begin.Do not expect a typical hotel with room service and wake up calls etc as they do not have this. You can expect friendly service and lovely staff.Breakfast is extremely mediocre but you are eating virtually on the beach which is lovely. We asked them for French toast after day 4 Of the same stuff every day and they happily complied.English is a huge problem and it remains a challenge to get a request through. The hotel is a bit secluded but if you want to escape and read and tan it will suit you very well?rooms are spacious and cleAn and you cannier a scooter from the hotel itself and travel around the area to the busier places. The chef is a lovely lady can do with some guidance and help.I got the idea that she was a housewife who obtained the employment and was now doing the cooking the way she would at home. The beach area was fine but the water very shallow so you can swim there if you do not stand up!We will not go back as life is too short to settle from average. If you want to feel spoilt this is not it.If you want to escape after a bank robbery this would be the place! The staff are great but once again not qualified to do the job. They are still doing everything manually and I a sure they are losing money this way.It will be a great spot for a day or two but 8 nights was a bit much.

This resort is great and the rooms are superb. Quiet and secluded (very difficult to find on your own as it is new- ask them to pick you up from the pier or tell your taxi to go to a neighboring hotel). Nice beach with some restaurants. great features overall.

Very nice place with a very nice and friendly staff.
The view was splendid but the beach was more like a bay, and not very suitable for a swim.
Overall, we enjoyed the place and would recommend it for a night or two.
The food in the hotel restaurant is not very good and would recommend them to get a real chef to have at least descent food, although the guy making the food was super nice and very friendly.
