Passed by on foot and was attracted by the advertised menu, so booked a table for the next night. Very glad I did too. Some staff under training, so a little slow, however, the food was outstanding. Chose from set menu and at only 700 baht thought this was excellent. My best meal in Lamai..!!!

We have read about this restaurant at tripadvisor and been trying to fine it. VERY difficult!!! Wrong adress and wrong map!!!! This restaurant is locaded in Lamais main street ( where the sunday marked is ) dont look like a fancy french one but the FOOD, OMG!!! We wasent that hungry so we only cheared a starter and a main. On the house we got a exelent apertizer and a woundeful soup. We nodded our heads, we found it! Had the foie gras with mango, perfect! And went for the biff flambe with troffle sauce. IT was soooo tender that we almost dident need a knife!!!! The i saw some other guest have flambe banana, yes we did go for that one to :) :) So, next time we gonne be really hungry and for all food lovers, GO THERE!!!!!

My wife & I were walking from our hotel at Lamai Beach and noticed Le Napoleon, checked out the menu and decided to have dinner there that night. We weren't disappointed, the service, decor, presentation and food were all excellent. My wife had the duck whilst I had the chicken. We were suprised by receiving a complimentary bowl of mushroom soup which was delicious. The chef introduced himself and his son, his wife also works in the restaurant as well, a real family affair. Unfortunately we weren't in Lamai Beach long enough to go back and experience the wonderful food.

We had dinner here with my Dive group last month and all I can say is that, the employees were very nice especially the Chef, who had welcomed us personally. The ambience was very nice too and lastly the food ...... hmmmmm.... as you say in French, C'est tres tres excellent!

We were there short after the opening, and, it was a promising place. We went back recently, took about the same dishes, prices had gone up BIG time. We avoided the 'mise en bouche'... The panfried duck liver had gone thin, the roasted ginger bread base replaced by a soggy bread slice, the 'asparagus' looking/tasting like mayo from the tube; the beef filet was OK, more MW than MR, the sauce was unexistant, made at the table with a base like ready-from-the-bucket snot in highway industrial eateries; the chicken breast with cider and terragon was awfully sweet (use 'brut' cider!); the desserts we ordered were not available, so had basic fried banana flambée, which was not fried, no 'flambée' flames either, plus half melted ice cream. Our wine choices were out of stock too. Thumbs down! Back to basics, and modesty, 'chef' Ludovic, please, you're in the tourist-trap-league now (the numerous 'Samuian' French epicurians we've met totally agreed).
