Hi, I arrived in Samui one month ago. After a 3 weeks stay in Bophut, where I stay at friends home, I had to move place.
I choosed to go in the south of the island, to discover a new environment.
A few km away from the center of Lamai, I found a little peninsula where are located several big resorts.I am now in Tonggad resort and itis such a great place. It is not so big and so quiet and beautiful. I can walk froom my room to the sea for a morning swimm.
The restau, called "Uncle Rang", is right on the beach and amazingly cheap with regard to the place. I had a wonderful and romantic dinner for the night of Loy Kratong, with an overall view on Lamai bay, with hundreds of lucky baloons lights in the sky. I recommand you stay some time in this place.
