“Tiny portion”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 12, 2013

Me and the girlfriend ate here after we stubled across it as we walked down the beach - I wish we hadn't! I ordered spagetti bolangese, and what turned up was a plate of spaghetti and a tiny dollop of sauce! Once i had mixed it all up you could hardly tell there had been any sauce at all! Girlfriend had a pizza which was small compared to others we had previously had in Thailand!

“Nice location”

Nice food, great location, right on the beach. The menu is a mix of Thai and European so most everyone can find something they like

“Worth a visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2012

I have been to this beach bar restaurant 3 times during my stay on the recommendation of my friend from the UK. The food is fantastic and served in a relaxed environment in a lovely location on the famous white sands of Lamai Beach. Let's not get confused - this is not meant to be the silver service fine dining experience (that a previous reviewer moaned about the standard of service). It is a laid-back beach restaurant with great food at very reasonable prices. A banana shake is 60 Baht and Thai food starts at about 100 Baht (£2GBP) served by laid-back friendly staff (seriously what service standards do some people think those prices command!!). Several Thai friends have been with me (for the first time) and agree that it is one of the best eateries on the beach. Free sunbed and towel provided (I suspect not in high season though) was a very nice touch. Well worth it - don't walk past this gem.

“Not good, food, or service”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 29, 2012

Really don't go here, we never really give bad reviews, but this place was terrible from the start. Service was very poor. Started with the waiter bringing the wrong starters, then when he changed them the chicken was raw. Returned this and should have walked out, but thought it could get no worst. But it did. The mains took over an hour to arrive and yes they were both wrong. I had ordered Thai chicken red curry and got beef burger and chips. Wife ordered pasta and got some kind of fried fish and rice. We pointed this out and they worked it out they had mixed up the orders, trying to correct this they returned to say ours had been eaten as the others were in a rush an accepted the mix up. At this point we asked to see manager and was told they were on holiday. We left withou paying and went off to find another place to eat. Steer clear unless they improve massively
