It was time to check out this offering, having recently been to the competition on the other coast. The venue can never be as visually stunning as Nikki Beach and despite trying hard it remains less "cool" with the in crowd, but the brunch food provided a wide choice to please every palate. The cost is roughly the same as the competition but the quality and variety means much better value for money. Another advantage is that this place actually has a beach- but watch for the rocks and coral- razor sharp!
The drinks were fine- no complaints there- not cheap of course and if you want free flow sparkling it more than doubles the cost.
The cigar selection was a disappointment - far too expensive and it is quite obvious that no one there has any idea about how to maintain freshness in a humidor. Overall a good day was had by all- the dj must feel a little isolated stuck behind a large rock but the choice of music was wider than expected- a good thing- and late afternoon happy hour kept us all there until early evening.
