Eaten here about a dozen times, never been disappointed, best to book as it can get busy.

When we arrived a lovely blond lady made us feel so welcome very different to another member of staff. Our room was clean but small and I feel it was over priced. In the bathroom there was a pump for the water system that was very noisy and unpleasant. I found the room very cold however they did provide an electric heater. We found most of the staff very good until the day of check out where a member of staff was so rude when my husband asked could he check out he was told he must check out straight away even though we had just finish breakfast we had a baby and a 93 year old grandmother to help. The member of staff was very rude and made it clear we must leave. We also left some baby pots to be collected by a relative, when we were told they were thrown away. Even with out bothering to tell us. Such a shame a member of staff can ruin a good weekend.

Liked this place a lot. Very good food. A little cramped around the table. Was there for food only, not an overnight stay.

Ate dinner and breakfast here, both were great. High quality ingredients, cooked simply and well. However, you can stay more centrally for a similar price.

Very warm welcome set the scene - well equipped rooms and ensuites, good breakfasts (wonderful sausages!) and excellent restaurant (even returned for dinner after we had left the hotel!) Yes, the rooms are variable in size, and a little quirky - but the owner was very honest about room size when we booked ..... and I'm not sure what else people expect in a lovely old country inn. Keep up the good work - we will certainly consider coming back. You made our family wedding at the village centre so easy!

Room Tip: Do ask if you have specific needs - size, bath etc, as all very variable.

We stayed here as a base from which to visit Cambridge and the Duxford Air museum. For that, it was perfect. A couple of mins drive to a convenient effecient Park n Ride site into the City. Duxford just a few miles away down the A14 and M11.

The welcome was friendly, the atmosphere felt very inviting...... and ... the secret..... the food.

We had dinner in the pub/restaurant and the whole experience was excellent. We had the baked camembert to share. What can I say...... perfect food at an excellent price.

In contrast, the rooms are quite pricey for the size / condition. No real grumbles, ours was very small, with a cracked wash basin and water never more than very warm - but ok.

Would we stay here again.... probably not, but only because we like to try new things.
We would, however, definitely eat in restaurant again, ... and again, ... and again....

We visisted the White Hart for a meal to our former home town Fulbourn. We were met with a warm welcome, cosy typical English pub atmosphere and teriffic value and a good ol' fashioned traditional meal. Service was great and staff very friendly. Can recommend to anyone visiting Cambridge.
