We were down to Stanford with friends this last weekend. They always find interesting places to eat! And Havercrofts is one of those! It's a 'farmstall' type building set off the road and easy to drive past. Take a bit of time out & make that turn. You'll be blown away by the husband & wife team who work this foodie heaven! The food is all locally grown & raised, local wines fill your glass, & you'll leave replete and longing for your next trip out! If you are VERY lucky you can try just walking in on an off chance. Book & you will not be disappointed!

Stanford in the Western Cape of South Africa is one of those quirky and quaint towns that feels like you have been transported to another place and time. The townsfolk fiercely guard the English village atmosphere, and Havercroft's Restaurant adds to the charm of the village. Innes is a ball of fun, where the front of house is her passion - you feel like long-lost friends from the moment you arrive, plus you end up meeting the people at the tables next to you, with Innes leading the charge. Brydon serves up excellent food - while the menu isn't large, it'll satisfy any fancy on the day. The blue cheese panna cotta was fantastic, plus the selection of local wines was good. Definitely worth an annual visit.

Regularly we're visiting "Havercrofts",the restaurant of Innes&Brydon in Stanford .The wonderful setting brings us always back, but for all,the lovely food, prepared by Brydon, and the original service by Innes.

The menu is short but with enough variation.Brydon cooks the stars from heaven and Innes service is unbelievable unique.

This restaurant is the one, you're looking for.The place to go,to be. Relaxed and friendly!
With a big smile you'll leave this place, always looking forward to return.
