Fabulous views over Loutro, great breakfast, pleasant staff, lousy air conditioning which was badly needed. Loutro is very busy and the hotel was lovely and quiet Co-Co to parrot is a great attraction

Your feedback is appreciated. We’re happy that you had an enjoyable stay with us. Coco says hello! Did you notify the front desk about the A/C?

Our first overnight stay at Loutro. We were greeted very warmly by the hotel owner. On floor 2, room 8 we found a magical view. Our room was spotlessly clean with fridge, satellite TV, extra pillows. The breakfast was marvelous. We loved that the hotel is the owners' home all year round.

Room tip: All lovely, probably 2nd floor quieter. But stairs only, no lift.

Loutro is a tiny remote seaside village in the south of Crete, between turquoise green blue water in front and rocky mountains rising up behind. The bay is lined up with a handfull small seaside hotels, restaurants and shops,  ferrystop and some small beaches. Its a must see place eve for a day or two. Well worth the visit.

Located 96 km from Chania, and 94 km from Rethymnon, bus connections to Chora Sfakion, then ferries or boats to are the only way to get here, except for hiking in (e.g. through the gorges).

It is a clean small hotel in the middle of the village, on the sea. For the standarts of the aerea it is clean and comfortable. Personel is freindly enough and breakfast is ok. There are only problems with the aircondition which doesn't work properly and the problem with often electricity cuts.

Thank you for taking time to post a review of your stay with us. Sorry about the A/C which has since been replaced. Electricity cuts to the village by the power company for servicing were beyond our control.
