“Nice way to learn about olive oil.”

We arrived as part of the Little Fun Train tour for a short tour of the olive mill. The tour was very informative and we would have liked to spend a bit more time at Terra Creta. Recommended for anyone who likes to use olive oil.

“Extraordinary tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2014 via mobile

Kostas gave us a very informative and entertaining tour of the state of the art olive oil production facility. We were very happy he gave up his holiday Saturday before Easter to take us around. The 5 children aged 3 to 13 as well as the 6 adults in the group found the tour intriguing and we all learnt something new about olive oil. we even had a tasting session at the end of the tour with some fresh bread dipped in delicious Kolymvari olive oil and balsamic vinegar.

“The BEST, six stars. Kostas gave us a fabulous tour!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 16, 2014 via mobile

As an extended family of six, we didn't know if a tour was possible during Easter week. Thankfully, it was.
But Kostas offered generously of his time and knowledge to show, not only the factory, but how the olive tree becomes the gorgeous oil on our table. And what it extra virgin or cold pressed exactly?
With two children, aged three and seven...it held their interest and ours...the grandparents. How great was that?
My husband, with over 35 years in AgBusinesses around the world, from the eight countries we've lived ranging from Ecuador to Mexico (and more), was very impressed with the cleanliness of the operation.
And I cannot wait to dress salads this summer with their oil that I couldn't resist.
Bravo!

“A must see whether you live in Crete or not!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 10, 2014

We were very fortunate to go on the 30-45 minute tour with a group of my friends and our children. Even though we did not have a chance to see live production as there were no olives available at the time, the tour guide was very detailed and knowledgeable about the entire process. We headed into the shop area afterwards and tried a variety of olive oils with bread. It was amazing!!! You don't need bread at all but all of the oil we tried was so delicious we just drank it up. This is the best olive oil I have ever tasted in my life and had a wonderful experience and we can't believe they tour this for free.
