My husband and I spent 11 days at this lovely hotel. Staff were very friendly always willing to assist with any queries we had. The room we had was a bit basic but clean. We would recommend this hotel to anyone, what more could ask for with the view over the lake and nice food and drink. Thank you to all management and staff for a lovely stay.

Clean well run family hotel but what make this hotel is it's location on Lake Garda. Stunning view over the Lake with a lakeside restaurant that serves excellent food and has very good obliging service. All outdoor areas are clean and well run with a nice pool and you are able to swim in the Lake if you wish. Behind the hotel is quite built up and not very attractive.

Room Tip: We had a room that was farthest away from the lake, overlooked the car park and next to the road. O...

We have calculated that we've been coming to this wonderful hotel for more than 25 years and still it carries the same sense of anticipation as we arrive. We were introduced to Spiaggia d'Oro by an Italian friend all those years ago and we keep coming back for the fabulous views, excellent service, food and friendly atmosphere. The food is excellent and if you don't want a 3 course dinner you can just as easily ask for a club sandwich or plate of pasta and it's no problem.
This is a rare find and can be wholeheartedly recommended. We'll be back!

My boyfriend and I stayed here in 2012, we had an absolutely wonderful time. The location was amazing, the views were spectacular and the rooms were fresh, clean and pretty. The food in the restaurant was amazing, we ate there most nights because it was so good. It was lovely to sit outside on the decking, which was on top of the lake and enjoy wonderful food and wine. Very romantic, would recommend 100%.

Stayed 3 days. Lovely Hotel. Good position very nice pool area and with one exception really pleasant and attentive staff.
The exception was the Maître d. What a complete ####
The most rude, arrogant and dismissive person I have come across. Absolutely up his own backside.
We arrived at our appointed time and given the menus. There was a special on of turbot (min 2 people) We decided on this. After 20 mins Maitre d came to tell us that turbot was no longer available. Now I accept that this can happen with a popular dish but shouldn't he have known what was available and what he had taken orders for, instead of waiting for the kitchen to pick up our order and tell him none left.
We didn't make a fuss. I ordered sea bass and my wife ordered duck.
After 40 mins of waiting we had only received our drinks. No bread, so after 5 mins of trying to get some attention I went inside and asked if we could have some bread. Of course sir was the reply.
Eventually after 50 mins the Maître d arrived with our 2 dishes together with the bread. We told him to take away the bread. It was something we wanted to put us on while we waited, not an accompaniment to the main course. He had the audacity to tell us that was when the bread was served in Italy. Absolute rubbish all the other tables in the restaurant had received their bread.
My sea bass was good but my wife's duck was tough and sinewy. We told the Maître d to which he replied in the most condescending tone ' I thank you Madam'
He returned to say the kitchen agreed and wouldn't charge for the duck. My wife said 'and I hope you won't be charging for the bread'. His response in the same tone as before was 'I thank you once again Madam'
My wife had had enough by this time and went to the hotel desk to complain only to turn round to find he had followed her and was then berating her. She said she refused to have a shouting match with him and left.
Please be warned but don't let this put you off visiting what is otherwise a delightful Hotel which we will visit again but not eat there, unless we can find his night off.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel itself was immaculate and pretty. The hotel is very smart but with a lovely relaxed ambiance.

Good selection at breakfast including delicious cakes. The room was very clean with a lovely balcony overlooking the pool and lake-ideal for watching the sunset. The only downside was our king size bed was made up of two singles made up as one bed. This is totally common in Italy.

The lakeside views were stunning and we loved that the hotel was literally on the lake. It is in walking distance to both Salo (35min or just a few min driving) or Gardone Riveria (10min). Both of which are very cute towns right on the lake with many restaurants and also ferry port.

We spent such a long time finding this hotel online and were definitely not disappointed - we really do recommend it.

A small family run hotel right on the lake side. Quiet location but very short lovely walk into nearest town. Good sized rooms with views of the lake. fantastic service from a small staff who turned their hand to most tasks. super breakfasts and surprisingly good dinner menu. Pool was a touch on the cold side for me but the lake was great to swim in. A perfect base for exploring the area which had loads to see. One of their suppliers has a restaurant on their farm up in the mountains and it is well worth the 25 minute taxi rid for their delicious beef dishes. Will definitely return.
