We have never been to a chalet hotel and it was our 1st inghams holiday.
Just returned today from this gem of a place! The staff are well organised, helpful, professional and very friendly nothing is to much trouble very accommodating! Food and drink service is very worthy of a Michelin star! Rossana the manager needs a karaoke machine for our next visit so she can entertain us! Carry on the good work you guys are doing this place proud!

We're not skiers, so weren't too sure what to expect from a"chalet-style" hotel, but it was brilliant. We're vegetarian, and I can't remember us ever having had better quality meals, superbly complemented by the free (and free-flowing) wine. The aperitifs, canapes and afternoon tea, together with packed lunches, all combined to enhance the experience.
The staff were extremely attentive and helpful, the rooms were large and spacious and the pool and outside areas very attractive.
Talking to other guests, this seems to be a common experience for those having stayed at this type of hotel in otther resorts.

Room Tip: Don't bother paying extra for a balcony. All the rooms seemed to have some sort of balcony, and...

All the great reviews are correct since the Ingham’s take over!

Rosanna (Manager) is the heart of this hotel and backed up with all of her fantastic staff, their service is 5 stars. Upon entering the hotel, they instantly made us feel at home, and made sure every guests needs were attended to, whatever it took. Our room was lovely, spacious, clean and fresh. The hotel is spotless; the food is top notch, a fusion of European styles. From the aperitifs and canapés before dinner, wine topped up very generously through every 4 course dinner, to the packed lunches set out for you every day and the afternoon cakes laid out in the afternoons. It is truly a fully inclusive hotel. Freshly brewed coffee a good selection of teas were also supplied in the lounge, which was great to come back to after a night out.

The outside and pool area are beautifully maintained; beautiful bedding plants mixed with well-cut box hedging sectioning each part of the outside terraces. The only downside is the busy road, take earplugs for a good nights sleep if you have a lake view room and are a light sleeper and not used to any night noises, but after a couple of nights it really was unnoticeable and did not put us off at all. The Ingham’s reps Elaine and Neil were spot on. Neil lives at the hotel, so he’s constantly there to give info and help, of which he does tirelessly, even on his day off. The hotel is a stones throw away from some lovely restaurants on the lakefront, down a small pedestrian only hill with climbing Roses growing up Palms, Bay hedging and very pretty Jasmine growing everywhere you looked. The smell just walking anywhere round the area was sublime.

Only one very minor drawback, the transfers could do with being re organized as they do pick up/drop off to quite a few hotels, which did make it slightly tiresome.

The Galeazzi has a great vibe, you’ll definitely enjoy your stay, and yes, we would definitely love to come back, Craig and Emma.

Room Tip: 306 is a lovely spacious room with two balconies, pretty wooden vaulted ceiling it is lake front and...

We stayed at the Hotel Galeazzi two weeks ago- and had one of the best holidays we have ever had. We had never travelled with Inghams before- but would highly recommend them and especially this hotel. From the arrival at the airport where we were greeted by a smiling helpful rep til the time we were dropped off to return home everything went so smoothly. The food was exceptional- as has already been stated by so many. All the staff were so friendly and helpful- there was a real team spirit. We slept in the front and agree there was some road noise- but even though we normally don't sleep that well on holiday, it didn't bother us at all and we slept really well. We don't normally return to the same place on holiday- but certainly hope to return here again.

Our week at this hotel proved to be the Rolls-Royce of vacations. The place ran like a well-oiled machine - even though it had been in existence under new owners for just over a month. We enjoyed good food, good staff, good wine, good accommodation and, above all, a good manageress, Rosanna, in the driving seat.
The pre-opening training had obviously been both intense and professional. The young staff were cheerful, helpful and confident. And Inghams' hospitality was warm and generous, particularly with the ever-flowing wine during the excellent four-course dinners.
Yes, the decor could have done with a brush-up here and there, although this was a minor matter. It's people who make an hotel. And those people made us more than welcome.
Just a tip ... although the lake-facing rooms have the best views, they overlook a very busy main road. Our side room was just right - glimpses of the lake, the mountains and the garden.
The one draw-back of this holiday was the long commute to and from from Verona airport, with multiple drop-offs. Could two smaller buses do the local job, with a rendezvous with a bigger coach out of town?
Jane and I look forward to another holiday here soon.

This hotel was a real find and great value for money. All the staff under the guidance of the manager Roseanna were attentive and friendly. The food was very good especially the fabulous cakes served for afternoon tea. in fact we could not fault anything about our stay.

Room Tip: Road noise could be a problem in rooms at the front of the hotel
