This is the second time that I have eaten in this restaurant. Each time the food was excellent, and the service was very friendly. On this second occasion we ate outside in the piazzetta, and the location, with a variety of climbing plants, was beautiful.
We shared antipasti - a potato and bean flan with cream of goat's cheese, couscous with dried tomato pesto, fresh 'tonino' cheese and roasted tomatoes. For first course some of us had tagliolini with a pesto of borage and sausage, others had ravioli with butter and thyme. For the second course some had grilled lamb chops, others grilled veal 'tagliata', and I had goat with white beans, which was very tasty. There was donkey on the menu, the first time I have ever seen it, and I am still regreting not choosing it. We washed it down with a bottle of Maccia pigato, Piluna primitivo and Terre del Barolo dolcetto. All in all, it was delicious.
A restaurant not to be missed on a visit to this part of Liguria.
