A true 4 star, maybe deserves 5 stars. Place is very nice, clean. Rooms was well furnished. Breakfast was tasty. Hosts very quite nice. View was very good. Great experience!

Just got back from a long weekend in Cork & Kerry. Stayed the second night at Sea Shore House and wished I had booked an extra night there. The owner of the b&b was so friendly and extremely helpful. The views from the bedroom are beautiful. I would definately recommend the pancake and fresh fruit for breakfast. I wished I had checked in slightly earlier so we could have enjoyed a drink at the pub at the bottom of the lane which was 2 minutes walk from b&b (outside seating with views over the water). If you allow extra time to get to the b&b it's worth following the coastal route (Slea Head Drive). If you get lost, ask for directions to the Post Office as all the locals in Ballyydavid know where that is (b&b is attached to the post office). I'm definately going to stay there again as I couldn't fault it.

Phyl and Michael are great. Phyl met us at the door with tea, coffee, and home made cakes. Phyl drove us into the next town for dinner AND picked us up. For breakfast there was the biggest menu we've seen at a B&B in Ireland (breakfast sandwich was the best!) In the morning Michael drove us to the base of Mount Brandon for our day of hiking. Then he made sure we had their phone number so we could call them to make sure we made it over safely. Oh and the rooms and were immaculate!

Phyl and Michael, who are the owners of Imeall na Mara, were the most kind hearted people we had the pleasure of coming across on our trip. They gave us a very warm welcome and were very personable both days when we were at breakfast. The house has stunning views and is very peaceful. They also run a post office/convenient store that is attached to the home. The rooms are very beautifully decorated and have beautiful sky lights. We loved staying here and would recommend it to anyone. Phyl and Michael made us feel like family and we hope that one day we can make it back out to see them.

This B&B is wonderful. We had a spotless, comfortable, good-sized room with a view of the water. Warm welcome from Mrs. Brosnan, who also runs the Post Office and bakes cakes. Full breakfast menu-- everything we tried was wonderful, except the slightly-weak coffee. Certainly hope to return for another visit.

Found this B&B online the day before we travelled to Dingle. Impressive website which really set the tone of this B&B! Being very familiar with Dingle and the surrounding area, we decided to stay out in Ballydavid (about 8 or 9kms from Dingle town). If you have a car and you don't mind the drive, it's well worth taking a break from Dingle and getting away from the bustling tourist atmosphere.

The B&B itself is lovely from the outside. There's a little shop and post office off it, which is quite handy! The double room to the front of the house was a good size with a very spacious en suite which was very clean and well appointed. It's the little touches in here that sets it apart from other B&Bs. Bed was very comfortable and slept soundly (despite the rain and wind outside)!

We had a very warm welcome from both Michael and Phyl, and like other guests we found the tea & homemade apple tart in the sun room was a lovely treat on arrival. View from this room is lovely and relaxing.

Breakfast was really tasty - enjoyed every bite. Felt very relaxed by the hosts, without them crowding you. Heard some great stories from Michael also!! Had us laughing early in the morning.

Off season price was very affordable and worth every penny.

In general, we would highly recommend Imeall na Mara to anyone visiting this region. A worthy option outside of Dingle, in one of the most beautiful areas of Kerry!

A great thank to Phil and Michael who gave us a warm welcome in her b&b. After our walk on the dingle way we felt so lucky when we got our nice room, the warm shower, tea and coffee and (!) a delicious chocolate cake with softice.

The room and bathroom are very modern and the little details show you how lovely this b&b is. After our shower we relaxed in the sun room with view to the three sisters, backwards to Mt. Brandon and with the taste of this delicious cake. Phil makes every day cakes by herself for her guests. She loves to cook an bake and so the most food in the house is homemade. Now you can imagine how great the breakfast was...

Phil thank for your uncomplicated help for us to get to dingle. We did the walk and we have seen Funghi :) Greetings from Stuttgart, Germany, Axel & Tina
