We stayed here for two nights back in September whilst on a road trip round Europe. It was busier than camp sites we had previously visited on the trip but it was in a prime location. The staff were extremely helpful when we checked in giving us a map of the local area and discount cards for attractions and parking.
When we arrived nightfall was approaching but it was an amazing view none the less. We set up camp and cooked just before two almighty storms. Sadly it rained solidly then until we left but the campsite coped, the facilities remained spotless which isn't always easy when people are walking in and out with muddy wet boots. The location was perfect for Konigsee lake and also the Eagles Nest.
As my review title says, it was the most expensive campsite of the trip but it was in the prettiest area so we didn't mind. Luckily I have been to the area before so have visited the local attractions but sadly my boyfriend didn't get to see them at their best due to the weather so we will have to come back and this is the campsite we will stay at for sure!
