“Lovely spot”
Reviewed March 2, 2007

The hotel location is superb: right by the sea in a beautiful private bay. The accommodation is modern and comfortable. So why not five stars? Because oveall there's just that feeling of having nobody in charge who's committed to ensurng that guests have a good time. The hotel restaurant felt dreary, and was little used, with people preferring to head out to the local village for more atmosphere.

I was sad when I left Blue Waters to stay at the other end of the island for a few more nights. The view from the balcony in the ocean view room was breathtaking. You can see Little Tobago in the distance and the water is almost right below you. The food and drinks were great at the restaurant and the beach was lovely. There is some very good snorkeling right off of the beach. They also have sea kayaks available so that if it seems too far to swim you can take one out to get to the best part of the reef. I went diving with the shop in the hotel - it was a great experience but pretty advanced diving so be prepared if you are still a novice.
