My first visit to Trinidad and Tobago and the carribean and did not what to expect. This hotel is really nice and located on the cliffs with a stunning view. The room was nice and also the bed. Big bathroom. We arrived late in the evening and the Café Havanna held open just for us. Very nice breakfast with some local food every morning. Nice and helpul staff and the owner is very nice and friendly. The best way to see the Island is to hire a car. It is very easy to drive even if you are not used to left side driving, but there is not so much traffic and it is easy to find your way. I must also say a word about the taxi drivers. They are amazing- so friendly and service minded. Always a big laugh! We used to go with Beardy and he is such an ambassador for his Island. He can tell you stories about Tobago.
If we ever go back to Tobago we shall absolutely stay at the Bacolet Beach Club again.
