I had the most awesome 5 nights spent at BLBR! The staff were friendly and helpful, meals were delicious and the view right outside my villa was indescribable. It was totally worth it to pay extra to stay in one of the beach villas. You get your own deck chairs and hammock and right off the beach is the beautiful coral reefs!

There's plenty to do at the resort too with so many different activities planned everyday at the dive shop. There's also fun activities like international crab racing and survivor held after dinner each night and it's really nice to interact with guests from all over the world! You definitely most not miss the cave trip and the village visit!

One thing I dislike about the resort was that there were plenty of mozzies when i was there. I got bitten pretty badly despite using the mosquito coil and spraying insect repellant. Well afterall you are in an island, so be well prepared if you are there. They only provide insect repellant at the restaurant area.

Other than that, everything else is perfect and i would recommend anyone to visit BLBR and their friendly staff, and of cos charlie the resort's doggy!

The water looks so beautifull from the beach in a sunny day, snorkeling in blue lagoon is a great expirience, the see life inside is amazing, if you like to swin you can spend the hole day in the lagoon. Not so much "Bula "is a great point, as we dont need a summer colony resort and no need to be pointed all day long on what to do. we did upgrade our lodge to a garden villa and we did enjoy it very much. after being in 4 other resorts in the yasawas I must say that this one was the best. calm, relaxing, expensive! but if you manage to upgrade insite you could have better prices. food is OK. daily activities are also good. it was hard to leave paradise. managment is very good. your needs will be taked care. you will enjoy this place because is a gift from nature, the hotel do a great gob making you feel confortable in paradise.

I spent 7 days at Blue lagoon. The food was amazing and varied. The people who worked there, most of which are local villagers, were some of the friendliest and warming people that you could ever meet. I have to say that all the people we encountered in all of Fiji were exceptionaly friendly. The water and beaches around the resort are some some of the most beautiful I have seen. There was plenty to do: snorkaling( right of beach), kayaking, hiking, relaxing on beach, kava drinking with locals and meating people. The outdoor shower that was in our beachfront bure was fantastic. Blue Lagoon Beach Resort would be perfect for a honey, a family vacation or just a backpacker.
