My family and I spent five nights here and loved every minute of it. The location is spectacular, on a steep hill overlooking the small village of Reva and the remarkable Lake Garda. The rooms are very large by European standards, and we stayed in a well-appointed suite with two bedrooms, small kitchen, living room and spacious private deck.

Pros: The hotel feels brand new, everything works well and is in excellent condition. The design of the rooms and furniture is very sleek and Italian. The restaurant is very good, featuring pastas, steak, a terrific chicken with yogurt, and salads. Breakfast was expansive and fresh, lots to choose from. Service from the front desk, to the restaurants and cleaning was excellent. One of the owners, Evo, gave us a private tour of his Balsamic and cheese processing equipment in the basement, very impressive. The pool is clean and in great condition, feels brand new and our kids loved it.

Cons: Very little to complain about. The drive up from Reva is very steep and not terribly well marked. Be careful pulling into and out of the hotel, the road is a challenge.

Room Tip: You cannot beat the two bedroom suite, you get a lot for your money here.

We spent 5 nights based here while on Lake Garda. Wow. Wow. Wow. The room, which was really an apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen and a huge terrace overlooking, well, everything, was unexpected and perfect. The view is unmatched. Lake. Mountains. Vineyards. Olive grove. Churches in every small town. Donkeys braying.

So. Service was perfect. The owner himself lead the private tour of the balsamic, wine and cheese making. Complimentary wine on arrival and to taste. So gracious. The pool is incredible--overlooks Lake Garda. My two children could have spent all day just swimming and looking at the lake.

The restaurant is top notch, but there was no pressure to eat there. We were guided to local markets to buy food and cook in our rooms as well.

The Balsamic is something to try. Not balsamic vinegar, just balsamic. Never tasted anything like it before. The wine is excellent, especially the Rebo.

We toured Arco, Lake Tenno, Riva from this base. We also spent some well needed down time just looking at the view and swimming.

Know that it is difficult to drive here--there are many twists and turns. But it is well worth it. My 14 and 10 year old already want to return.

While visiting the Trentino area of Italy last week, I had a wonderful dining experience at Acetaia. The meal was excellently prepared, and served by superior wait staff. The Carne Salada was one of my favorite appetizers, and the rabbit was the best meal that I had during my entire stay in Italy. The view from the dining room further heightened the dining experience. After our meal, we had the distinct pleasure of meeting Ivo, who very graciously gave us a tour of his restaurant and also explained his wine, balsamic and cheese making processes. Definitely a 10 out of 10 experience

Lovely hotel and location! The restaurant it's very good, we had a great Acetaia starter and tried the Carne Salada (cooked salty cured beef) with Borlotti beans. Amazing!
Rooms are large and the all overlook a fantastic view of the lake. Very romantic. Breakfast was very nice too, served on the terrace and all members of staff kind and helpful. Would advice it to everybody!

Went with friends to try the noted carne salada in Tenno. Just happened to find the Agritur Acetaia on Trip Advisor. It more than exceeded our expectations. It has been opened only 7 months and is owned by a wonderful family. Ivo, the owner, could not be more open and kind to his guests. They produce their own wine, olive oil, balsamico, and have a superb restaurant! Ivo's carne salada is unsurpassed!!! Also, the rooms are perfect, being very large and modern. The bathrooms have a huge shower stall and is a large room, too! Underfloor heating was exceptional. Overall, a great place to stay, eat and drink! In warmer weather, there is a pool and zacuzzi overlooking the lake. Spectacular Views!!!!!! Thank you so much for a great time!!

booked this hotel as a stopover between lucca, italy and east tirol, austria...only wished we´d have had the time to stay longer. friendly and informative check-in- receptionist spoke german and english as well as native italian. showed us to our room and explained some of the features. room was clean, large, very well and tastefully furnished with huge bed, tv, radio, fridge, AC...excellent bathroom, safe, lots of storage space, slippers, fluffy towels, huge terrace with comfy furniture. welcome gift of wine produced in own vineyards. delicious. tea and coffe facilities in room. really lovely pool and whirlpool area. lots of sunloungers on terrace. veiws are to die for from terrace and restaurant. there´s small playground for children and ample parking. if you have a lot of luggage ask for easiest route to room! there a several restaurants around the hotel but the one of the best reasons for staying here is the in house superb restaurant. escellent local, tradition cuisine. almost everything is produced by the owners of the hotel....wine, oil, balsamico. cheese, cured meats...really very good. excellent and friendly service. restaurant is very busy at weekends and you should bear this in mind if booking a weekend break. might be more "romantic" in the week. great value for money both for food and room. excellent breakfast (cheese, eggs, ham+cured meats, bread, pastries +++++) incl in room price. we really enjoyed our stay at this great little place....10 rooms/suites...and will be looking fwd to next visit! btw... location couldn´t be better either. high above lake garda with sweeping views down to lake and across the mountains and villages. close to all the fun, but far from from the crowds. the only thing we didn´t enjoy was the smell of cigarette smoke which drifted straight back into the restaurant from the smoking allowed on the terrace. a pity, but an all too common nuisance at garden and terrace restaurants throughout the world!! the smokers will see it differently of course....
