We stayed at Tenuta La Romana for 2 nights after fullbooked Alba. The experience was fonderful. Large, clean rooms and the food at the restaurant near the hotel was excellent. If You want to sleep well and have a fabulous dinner - your perfect choise is Tenuta La Romana!

Room Tip: If You prefer a good sleep.

We arrive at Tenuta la Romana and were cheerfully greated and shown to our suite. Beautiful accommodations, lovely breakfast and helpful front desk. They immediately helped us secure our first wine tasting experience. Even on my birthday, they brought me a cake for breakfast. The view is gorgeous. We did not use the pool, however we did eat outside one night on the deck. Would definitely stay their again 5*****

Room Tip: oops - not fitness center but great pool; no room service - but none is needed everything you need i...

We stayed at Tenuta La Romana for 4 nights during a wedding, and had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and we had a small and cozy backyard as well. The hotel is surrounded by wineyards, and there is a beautiful view from the main entrance. The pool-area is clean, calm and very nice. There is also a good pizza-place only a short 10-minute walk away. I would love to come back someday.

Came here for our friends wedding. Great service, good food and beautiful surroundings. We had a wonderful weekend! Food at the wedding was good, but the lunch was average. We really enjoyed our stay!

Just minutes from downtown Nizza, Monferrato. This property is big and beautiful. Unfortunately,
after you walk through the huge lobby area, you have to turn lights on to walk up the stairs and hallways that lead to your room. The darkness doesn't give a warm, welcoming feeling. Our room was huge, beautiful and comfortable. We slept like babies! Honestly, we thought we were the only guests since we never saw other guests or heard other guests except at breakfast. The staff was very helpful to me in rearranging our travel plans since we were further away from Alba and Barolo than I realized. They also arranged for us to experience a truffle hunt! It was one of the highlights of our trip. The staff spoke some English and extended themselves in communicating with us.

Having read the reviews and seen this images we were expecting a wonderful place with excellent hosts..... The place is above average, but not fantastic. For us, the biggest issue waa the Very average staff! It was obvious they were just doing a job and had no real passion for what could be a wonderful place to stay.
On a positive, the location is great and handy for some wonderful vineyards - especially Gianluca Poggio in Castel Boglione. It is peaceful and wifi is free....

Room Tip: We had a standard double, but although ok... we were in a corner in what had one time been a staff r...

We spent a night here and really enjoyed the place. The staff was particularly friendly, and the lady at the reception spoke very good English and French. They had a wedding going on that night and our room was right next to the party, so we couldn't sleep. We asked for a different, more quiet room which they gave to us immediately. I thought this was very thoughtful. Wifi is free and the breakfast is good. We're thinking of coming back at some point.
