Loved the food, price, atmosphere. My husband and I ate here twice during our stay, once outside and once inside. Outside is definitely the best, on a patio overlooking the beautiful Indian Ocean. Bring a cushion or blanket to sit on if you have one handy, the chairs are wire and get a little uncomfortable in a sundress after awhile! Inside is cozier and comfortable, with views to the ocean out of large picture windows that surround the dining room.

Service varied a little between the two visits, with our first experience very friendly and enthusiastic. The second was a little more subdued, but still fine. I don't remember there being long pauses or waits between anything but getting beverages refreshed. Our first visit, we over-ordered a bit, with a double-starter course and two main dishes and sides. We were smarter the second time and omitted one of the starters and one of the main dishes!

Both of us are somewhat novices to Indian cuisine, but know what we like. We definitely got it! Our first server was really helpful in giving us menu translation where we needed it. Another fun thing was being able to amp up the spice as needed -- living in central Europe, it's a little hard to get spicy food -- and Mahek made it easy to make things hotter as needed. The local beer was a perfect complement to all of it.

Also, this was by far the best value for our dollar/euro, with our entire meal, including tip and drinks, for about 45 Euros. This is pretty expensive for casual Indian food, by both European and American standards, but it was the best deal we found for dinner on the Seychelles.

Went for dinner at around 8 pm on a Wednesday evening; restaurant was semi full; we were seated quickly. We ordered our meals; the waiter was not too helpful. Coomplimentary papads and some chutneys were brought to the table - the top 3 papads had gotten soft from sitting around in the kitchen and had to be discarded.

The food took over an hour to arrive - our meal was actually quite simple; a soup; a fish starter a veg curry, a chicken tikka masala and some nan & rotis - we found out that the kitchen had just 3 staff and they were obviously backlogged !!

It was tiresome waiting so long for a meal at the end of the day - the staff did not seem to care that customers at nearly all tables were having long wait times...

The food when it arrived was adequate taste wise - the veg curry was poorly prepared since the navratan vegetables (or similar name) seemed like it had a overly large quantity of raw nuts thrown in (in Indian cuisine we tend to fry these before they go in the curry).

Not an experience we will want to repeat !

This place serves really good Indian food and has a very varied menu. The red snapper starter is well worth a try.

We are lovers of Indian cuisine and must say this was one of the better meals we have had. The curries and condiments were great. The garlic nan crisp and hot. The tap say brew was a excellent compliment

We ordered a curry and were expecting rice with it as is usual in most countries. The rice was extra. We also ordered drinks which came from the hotel adjacent to the restaurant. They charged an extra SCR22 for the beer and SCR20 for betching them from next door!
